hey i was just wondering if you guys put up a list of uni's out here cuz i wanna research em aqnd stuff and apply cuz im in grade 11 so i gotta get looking around

for vancouver area there is

University of British Columbia

Simon Fraser University

Capilano University

Kwantlen University

and some smaller colleges

and emily carr university and trinity western university and u of fraser valley, but that is starting to get out of the area.

There is also a new private on in Squamish.....i think its called Quest. If your from the states it would be the same price as any other Uni for you here, and same price as any out of state place.
UBC, SFU and UVic are the biggest three, however Uvic is on the island making it much more difficult to get any skizzzing in.
Capilano U aka crap college is decent but it just got turned into a Uni this year and is still much more of a transfer school.K U is in a similar boat i think.
Emily Carr is a sick art school and Industrial Design school, however it is very hard to get in. Cap also has a sick art program.
Deffy UBC, SFU of Vic for any science, engineering, business etc.

if you want to ride whistler allot then Quest, but that shits so expensive.

Out of the Van schools Cap and SFU are closer to the mountains, but it wont make that much of a difference

Also, UBC Okanagan (Kelowna) for general programs is good. 1+ hour to Big White, 2.5 hours (or so) to Revelstoke. Relatively easy access for people from out of town as it is pretty much across the highway from the airport. It's easier to get into that UBC Vancouver but it still says UBC on your diploma. I wouldn't recommend it for the sciences or engineering (not sure if that is offered there). But if you are looking at an arts/social science program, definitely consider it.

Oh and Kelowna is a fucking FUN town in the summertime. The girls are absolutely out of control there.
