i know there have been alot of college posts lately but i am going to the university of colorado at boulder next year and i was wondering if any of you are either there or are going to be goin there?

ok lets get this straight its like 45 minutes to the nearest skiing and there are 11 other resorts with in 3 hours and boulder is a sweet school. not too mention that colorado has some of the best skiing in the world.

 
^^hmm is that why i already have a career and im a 3rd year student? ive had my job/career now for over a year. its called once i got 1 year education i was eligible for a co-op and job hunting. i then found one of the best jobs out of any co-op in my class and beat out 3 of my fellow classmates. 1 does not talk to me anymore because he knew we were both going for the job and well im just a better business man for the job.

hes asking about the college in respects to skiing so im guessing the education is 2nd in this case. i mean why go to colorado if your just looking for an education? there are far better schools for education

it's not 2+ hours, yea, some sunday nights there is a lot of traffic going back down I-70, but it's really not that big of a deal. Really it's the closest you'll get to skiing while still living in a real city with real city things going on.

 
^Uhhh salt lake, and unless you have lived here dont start the whole 'utah sucks, mormons suck' thing because its not true. Oh yeah we are half an hour away from 6 resorts that are all better than ANYTHING you will find on I-70.

 
there is no way you can comapre salt lake to denver/boulder I've seen slc punk, I know how bad it sucks out there.

 
boulder is sick as hell, realisticly on a normal day you are up to the mountains in like an hour and 20 min which isn't that bad espically cause the partying/drinking/drug use/ riots in boulder can't be matched by anything utah has

Boulder is a very well rtounded school that offers some of the best education availible in many differnt areas. And by the way utah sucks a fat one and mormons are even worse and its not the skiing on I70 you want its the skiing on 82 the skiing in utahs good and all but just not as good.

how is denver shit? It's the best city in the country for singles, we have profeshional sports teams, we have amuesment parks, theaters, huge arts centers, a way better airport than slc, BEER!!! how about that one bitch? There isn't a single good thing that slc has as a city that denver/boulder doesn't. OK it's cole to the mountains, they why don't you just move to the fucking mountains?

For the partying/good school/cooltown/extremely good looking girls/scene close to skiing, there is not a better one than Boulder, period. If you like to look at dudes all day and get a less than average education, but ski some reputable mountains, go to school in Utah. If you want what I described at the top, and oh yeah, a 5 mountain pass for $330, live in Boulder.

its an hour and 15 minutes from skiing, unless u drive like a grandma. and 45 min from eldora, tons of uban jibs, its where its at, i am probably going there in 3 years. AND YOUR ALL JEALOUS CUZ WE HAVE JIBIJ! oh yea and it was #1 party school last year.

yeah, i am considering boulder next year and from some of the people i know that go there i hear it is out of control.

 
boulder is so hot right now. you definitely want to come here. i just got back from skiing took an hour and twenty minutes. the driving really isn't that, especially if you don't have to drive both ways yourself.

if you want to drink and ride, boulder is incredible. so easy to get a ride and the 1.5 hour drive is perfect for catching a buzz. if you want to be closer, be a liftie. if you want to go to an actual dope college, go to CU.

salt lake city is better? HA! slurp down a few 3.2 beers and go hook up with a polygamous douchebag.

i heard it's good, but yeah if you are looking to ski while going there you might want to look somewhere else like univ. of utah....that is, if you can handle the mormons and 3% beer.

the best thing about boulder is that the two best breweries in the country are only an hour away in fort collins. and i drive from fort collins just about every day i go riding so the drive from boulder aint shit.
