Anyone go there?

I'm applying.

What was your essay about cause I have no idea of how the "Colorado Creed relates to my life."

I was looking at my project sht on the collegeboard site and I think I could get in. IDK about the essay I am only a sophmore in highschool

super easy if your from out of state, pretty easy in state, but they have the domination of the west theory there.

It's a pretty sweet town; I’m a jr. at CU and have grown kind of tired of the ridiculous size of this place. My english class of 35 was called "small" today, and I still have classes of 100 +

To be honest I70 is kind of a drag, but the skiing on the other side is pretty good (park wise) there are bigger and better places for big mountain.

in short CU is a lot of fun with plenty of outdoor entertainment to be had, plenty of parties to be found, and a lot of good weather to enjoy it all in. Campus is planned fairly well, but in the end you are dealing with a massive diploma machine.

I got accepted there into the mechanical engineering program. Im pretty sure im gonna go there, if i wasnt going into engineering i definately wouldnt go there i think. The engineering area seemed quieter and smaller, more focused. Anyone else going into engineering there?

Im looking to go into the areonautical engineering feild and im looking at western Mi right now but I want to go out west pretty bad so do they have a decent areo program?

i applied, i dont want to really go i think. might just send in my UVM acceptance and be done with it.

i applied in october...they sent me a letter asking for my semester grades.....lets just say i thought senior slump started the second junior year ended, but im going to DU anyways so i dont really care about CU, I just want to get in so i can say i got into every school i applied too

Who all goes there?

I'm moving to Boulder on Sunday for a couple months, and the only people I know are my roomies (kind of) and Josh from Jibij.

I'm a freshman at UW, and almost went to CU...from what i've heard its a fun party school/great skiing nearby, but they have one of the highest acceptance rates in the country according to national college rankings... soooooo not really sure how to interpret that, but eh.
ski, party, what more do you want/need?

oh and i still remember writing the "colorado creed" essay like 3 times because its such a hard topic
GOOD LUCK! you are almost doneee !

i got accepted into the environmental engineering program, but i also got into the university of utah and im having trouble deciding where to go because i dont really want cost to be my deciding factor. they seem fairly similar except the mormon influence in salt lake which makes it sound totally different but i didn't really think it was all that different. my counselor told me that the craziest parties that he had ever been to where at the u of u. so i don't know, i guess well see what happens

its my top choice for grad school right now. anyone over there working on their masters or phd?

yeah that was gayyyyyy i finished that shit in november. so glad, yet i still havent received notice from them yet.

I got halfway through the essay last year before I realized that I would get no work done due to partying and skiing if I went there and that they don't give a rats ass about their students. But it does look like a fun ass school to go to, but i'm happy where I'm at out east.

My brother's a sophomore at UC. he wrote about how he got sick his freshman year of high school and ended up in teh hospital for a while, and the colorado creed tied into it cause it made him think more about his life and uplifting things in general.

just do something you know a lot about. and if you know anyone that it would relate to, you can always use their experience in your letter

Admissions director personal told me they don't care too much if you don't write about the 'Colorado creed' So If you have a good personal statement just use that, most tend to reflect on stuff in the creed any way.

The essay was super easy for me. Im turkish and grew up as a muslim in a super white christian area so i talked about how my experience in having 2 lifes and seeing diff cultures has allowed me to understand others and work together with them. That sorta shit.

I was thinking about going to U of U, but it seems like the best place for making an image in the park scene is colorado right now. Still good out of the park skiing in colorado tho no doubt. Utah just seemed like a shitty place to be outside of skiing, and as we all know, when you go to college you arent skiing all year and not every day, so there has to be something around the town to keep your moral high.

I go to DU. It's the smaller (more expensive) alternative to CU. Classes are much smaller (as is the school), and almost everyone skis or boards. Plus, idk about other colleges, but our weekends generally start on thursdays.

i applied early action and i guess they are behind on applications because a lot of people transfered there for january 1st. and also they received many more applications than they expected. I got a letter a week ago asking for my mid quarter grades so im pretty worried that i wont get in.

I applied there undecided in college of Arts ans Sciences with a 3.7 gpa and 1200 SAT. I was going to do business but i was cutting it short with both my gpa and SAT and i am also interested in Environmental sciences so i went undecided.

They sent me a letter with all this information to check my application status online and I cant seem to figure out how to check it because there is no link to do so. If anyones knows what im talking about please help.

i think im just going to use my other essay cause shit has to be postmarked in time

other essay is abour team work and leadership

should cover most of it.

its not my first choice anywho

I applied to the business school with 3.58gpa and same sat scores, and if you apply to business and dont get in they still consider you for arts and sciences. I am having the same problem with the checking application shit. Ive spent like an hour trying to figure it out but when your on the CUview thing there is nowhere to check the status of your application, it only shows if you sent everything out...

yea thats what i did. i went to my english teacher and he said to just use my main essay which was about making good decisions, and my guidance counselor agreed. They arent looking for you to talk about colorado creed, but instead to just show that you follow it in your life. You will be more than fine with your essay.

Oh i didnt no they would consider you for arts and science but ive taken a business/economics class in highschool and it was ok so i dont really mind i went undecided.

yeah im waiting on my decision from colorado to. im already accepted to utah so if colorado doesnt work out im headed to utah

i applied while ago, but i wrote my essay about cheating. I said i never really cheated on tests or anything, and despite my friends cheating i didnt give in. i expanded to show how this shows my academic integrity, and respect for my teachers and classmates. i dont know its a bullshit prompt, the guy told my friend to just use his personal statment for UW.

i got accepted to the school of arts and sciences too. prettyy sure i'm gonna go there since i don't want to lose my 200 dollar deposit that i just sent in
