My buddy is applying for a job as a park design/builder. However, hasnt many online photoshop/acad skills. So i asked him if he could use a hand to create some on the computer. None the less, i think he needs some drawings to hand in, im not sure. But i have nothing to do so i could careless if he needs some or not, ill draw some up. What do YOU think is a UNIQUE design this man (who remains confidential, how ever very active on this site) should submit to create a stezz-o-iffic park?

Well, a qaurter pipe, but on both sides and then have an oil drum to stall on then drop down on the other side.

Have a steep 7 or 8 foot tall near vert take off thats about 15 or so feet wide. Build it so that comes off a level section of the park. Right after the lip, make a series of three boxes of snow, one 9 feet tall, one 12 and one 15 (or larger) arranged in any matter. Leave a 2 foot gap or so.

Now, heres the cool part. In the middle of the gap between the lip and the boxes of snow, have posts dug into the ground and place wooden logs over top to make "bars" that are about 1 foot above the box they are next to. This way, some sort of "hitching post" look is achieved. Skeirs and boarders can ski up the ramp, hit the section they feel comfy at, stall on the log (or skim over it) and go to the box or back down the takeoff ramp.

Here, i made it in paint because what i wrote looked like shit when i re-read it. Excuse my lack of paint skills.

Heres another one i did when i was playing around. This would definently not be for an average park, nobody would use it. Maybe for a comp down by the base of some ski area though. The tall jump was designed to be a spine/sorta thing, but could also accomidate a wallride or something.

a wall ride that if you stall on the top it drops into a mini half pipe, but you only hit one wall, like a quarter ill ms paint it

I wouldn't mind seeing some more spines around.

Check the updates for Heavanly's new setup. They have a vert box.

But remember to make the park for everyone, and not just us. Mountains need tourists to make profit, and tourists want to be able to ski the park without killing themselves. (Which in my opinion, killing themselves would be a good thing)

i forget what mountain its at but i think thats a pretty sick stair set

and any big jumps are sick. also butter bricks, especialy the one like keystone. a quick step up to step down with landings on both would b sick. you could always flip through a mag to get i deas too.

Like a spine to a halfpipe would be sweet. You drop in hit the spine and land on the otherside to sort of a quarter pipe or halfpipe

a kicker, have a 10 foot gap, and then a square block of snow about 20 feet long and 5 or 10 feet high with a lip at the end, and then have about a 20 foot gap to a landing

Do a Down-Flat-Up box. It would take a little thinking to get the angles right so you wouldnt stall out but it would be cool. Or a inverse rainbow rail. Starts out high then drops and then back up to a nice drop so you could do a nice rotation out.

id like to see a rhythm section of wee mini jumps, bmx style - do like hip into 1/4 pipe then another hip then 3 or 4 bmx style jumps in a row

i dunno if most places has these:

keystone has a flat rail that is angled up until you get to the middle then it rocks down on a pivot. its like a seesaw basically and it is a serious trip the first time

Not trying to be a dick, but that picture is the funniest thing I've seen all day. Did you use your opposite hand to draw it, or did you just hold the pen in your mouth?
