Anyone heading to the Uni Games this winter - in Wanaka, 26th August - sometime September?

couple of boys and me from auckland uni are heading down, keen for a bit of good good natured competition, i aint done GS in aaages. heheh unless its snowing, then TC is on.
 
was there for the 01, 02, 03 and 04 games, always a good time, you'll never take Otago off the top spot though, haha, we rule and always will, WOOT!
 
well i dunno if Otago is that good yet. just wait til next year when i get to Otago, it will be time to take out the old much too small baby blue race suit. yeah i used a race suit, so what, wanna fight about it?
 
Mine was pink, I still have it. I might bust it out for a slopestyle this year, although I think I'll be repping the simon dumont lion suit for most of the season...
 
whats the story on the uni games? Just racing? Im at Otago now, could be keen to cheack it out.

vroy when you getting back cuz? Im in AK on the 13th June. And rocking back down on the 5th. Does that fit your window?

Looking forward to catching up with the old crew. u to toby...

Uni games is slalom, GS, boarderX, skierX, slopestyle and big air, the last few years have been awesome as the more freestyle events have taken off really big, and not to mention the boat races at Red Rock and shooters afterwards, haha, gooooood times, all I remember is in 03 when Wellington cheated to take the title away from us for like the first time EVER, FUCKERS!!!!! CHEATS!!!! But we won it back in 04 so that was all good, shit knows what happened to it last year, haha...
 
Last year so smoooth. otago dominated and it was fukin raw times in wanaka.. they hire out the bullock hotel and we got hooked up wid 100 dozen corona and copious tequila... The freestyle events were pretty epic with all the foreign exchange skiiers stepping up wid sum mad steeze..
