Unequivocal evidence that no poles is sick...

The vast consensus here seems to be that riding with no poles is "gay." Also everyone knows that gay people are all about style, and own that shit like microsoft. So clearly, riding with no poles is the steeziest way to do things. Try and disprove that bitches!

how about...

everyone thinks no poles = stupid.

what everyone thinks = the 'popular' or 'conformist' thing

which = the stupid thing.

therefore, no poles = the not stupid thing.

dude i saw the queer eye crew at my local hill. they were sporting thae latest abercrombie snowboard gear est. 1978.i guess they did some interior work on the lodge

good point, how about

NS has an average IQ lower than the state of Alabama

No poles is sick, so suck it.

and going back to my previous post, i'm not in any way trying to be anti gay, and it really pisses me off when people call shit gay for no reason, but they should realize what they really mean, which is subconciously they admire people who can drop their poles and still be steezy.

no poles is only sic in the park, other than that its stupid......for safety reasons even.

(ever try a mogul feild, tree line, or 50 degree pitch with no poles???)

^i dunno. i've seen some pretty fucking sick grabs without poles. check weiler's profile.

how about

no poles= unballenced, inexpieranced, retards

unballanced= shitty skier

inexpierance= even shittier skier

retards= below average intelct

skiers with no poles= ignorant itellectually challenged shitty snowbaorders

Why don't ya'll come out and play in the rocks. Poles are like a dip, just can't ski without.

fuck you no pole haters. skiing with no poles means you have better balance. i dont need to metal sticks to help me initiate turns. maybe you guys do

one show me a guy with no poles that can attack a super steep big mountain line better then a guy with poles, and 2 things look good when there in proportion to each other skis are soo long that you need to add some length to your arm to keep things in proportion, (this goes for people who ride real skis like 170 and up, not 150s you might as well be riding gay ass snow blades)

"this goes for people who ride real skis like 170 and up, not 150s you might as well be riding gay ass snow blades"

Goddam!?! 170s real skis? I spent half of last year on one three pairs of 200s I have. And I'm trying to get some DH skis too. Goddam people, short skis suck, long ski truck. Get with it.

I always ski without poles while doing follow cams, it's not that bad. Once you can ski really well without poles, you can do some outlandish shit. Isn't that how they teach racers too? Ski without poles, only ski with one ski, things like that, it's all a different form of practice that makes you better, Mahre made no poles look good for the first time, you can't deny that.

well i agree with you about people worrying too much about style and what gear they have, but skiing without poles is just for some queer that wants to have his own style, so are you just like proving yourself wrong??

come ski some of the steep chutes at my mtn im sure you won't be able to even get down the mtn without your no poles theme.

alot of you guys don't seem to be getting the point here, obviously poles are necessary for bc and all-mountain, but on a spring day, early season, bad conditions etc. any day when you are mainly skiing park, skiing without poles makes you a better skier and have better style, and even if you don't do it yourself there is no reason to diss on it.

that is how they help teach some posture, but about andy making them look good for the first time? no check out sterotype for pete mipher or what ever his last name is... he split a section with pollard... looked pretty sick.

I've said it before, and I will undoubtedly say it again. Anything that you can ski with poles, you should be able to ski without. If you can't ski without poles, then you aren't as good as you think you are. Poles are not a necessity.
