Underated skiers

lj and giray dadali kill it in the meathead movies and will wesson absolutly slays rails but i never hear anyone mentioning his name...
 
Rainville and Favre are by far the most underrated. other than them alot of the east coasters. Like Wesson, LJ, Ahmet. Giray, flynn

I dont think you can say someone is underrated by the industry without knowing what they are getting from their sponsors.

It's all about how you market yourself asa marketing product.

In my opinion, most pros are underrated cause they help companies sell a lot of skis without geting what they deserve.

Still they are getting paid to ski wich is pretty damn cool but you still ahve to realise they put their body on the line to push their sport further.

I dont think pro skiers whould take as many risk as they are taking right now ( hitting jumps that are not safe but so big that it will make a hll of a shot, going higher tehn everyone else on a quaterpipe to break a world record so everyone AND you sponsor thibk your the hottest sit around, ect). Dont get me wrong, I have nothing agaisnt those who do such things and I think they are fully commited to their sport.

Pro skierare mrketing toolos to most sponsors it's the reason they can get some money out of skiing.

the problem is teh expectation from the sponsors adn teh public. You expect a pro skier to push the limits while he might just want to have fun shredding your normal park.

There are not that many TJ Schiller, Simon Dumont, Eric Pollard, Pep Fujas, Tanner hall and Jon Olson in this world who can have solid influence on what kids buy solely on comp results and video segment. In the end it should be all about how you help the company that spnosors you instead of how good you are.

Watch surf up, they did a good job at presenting my point of view using cure pinguins.
 
dorey for sure. theres too many to list. but lots of folks from the okanagan. matt margetts is fully underrated along with mike mertion. stu chapman as well. cam schuster kills it hard.

chris honeywell is a fucking THUG, ahmet dadali needs more credit for how talented and burly the kid is. charley ager.

theres just too many to list. so many kids that have more unique styles and are doing the same shit as pros are getting shafted its quite unfortunate. and whoever said something about you cant say the are underrated unless you know what they are getting, thats not ntirely true seeing as we are more talking about who gets more recognition rather then who gets paid. its just about who we think and see not getting the recognition from ski magazines and sites etc that they deserve.

Roy Kittler IS underrated in the us skiing scene !! (not by his sponsors)
Many German, Swiss, Austrian Skiers are quite underrated in the us skiing scene aswell !!

 
Scandinavian groms has already been mentioned, but I don't think people can even begin to understand the level of riding in sweden and especially in NORWAY - cuz guess what, its actually different countries, hehe.

The only skier in this edit who is past 18 is Anders Backe... enjoy.

norams: bibby, ahmet, bobby brown (he is fucking GOOD) and possibly everyone at any extreme comp

as far as other places like uk or down underneath, i dont really know enough about the scenes there. but im sure snowpark nz will be producing some world class rippers very soon that none of us have ever heard of
