I just got mine in the mail from a week ago and the cop 100% lied on it. Such bullshit. He was a huge asshole that night like I know cops are supposed to be but this was rediculous and I got into a fight with him so I'm thinking he completely lied on my citation because of it.

It says "definatly admitted to having two beers" and "definatly blew a .017".

1. I didn't admit to ANYTHING but the fact that it's illegal to make someone take a breathalizer if no one was actually seen with alcohol in their hands (my moms a lawyer and informed me of this on the phone at the time).

2. He didn't show me what I blew and when I asked just said "over a zero".

SUCH BULLSHIT. Other people who had the same amount of alcohol as me (we JUST started drinking) passed the PBT and I fucking didn't.

Not sure if you're looking for some support or advice or what. But there's a suggestion.
 
play more sports to increase your metabolic rate so you don't blow as much with just a few beers

that sucks anyway, i hate hoe cops can just lie about that stuff and most of them get away with it
 
keep in mind you are a girl that prolly weighs less than the average guy. You will absorb/metabolize it at different rates. Its the same reasons I can have 10 beers and be a bit buzzed, but my other buddy have 10 beers and be shitty drunk. We are all diff.
 
Just go to court with it, most of the time some charges will get knocked down, but it can be expensive so you have to decide if its worth it. And while its illegal for a cop to 'make' you take the PBT he can ask you to take one and if you say oik than it was your bad...but I dont know the exactly what happened so i dunno

the cop might not even show up to court if he knew he was lying...has anyone ever had a cop help them in some way?
 
I was walking to go into a party with a 30 of beer and everyone was like theres a cop car following us. So i didnt turn around and walked in between cars and set the beer down discreatly. Then they pulled up and were like your not 21 are you, and i said no. He said we saw you put down the beer and we are going to need to take it. We told him we had a DD and he said to have a fun night. Oh and i was already loaded.

Another time i was drinking a beer walking down the street and a cop car stopped and he got out of the car so i threw the beer can. He said he saw me drinking and would need to breathalize me. I ran back to my apt in 2 feet of snow. Damn pigs couldnt keep up.

Some cops suck some dont.
 
man the drinking laws in america are so incredibly shitty

what do they care if youre getting drunk? youre not hurting anyone, shit.
 
the only time people around my parts get caught is when theyre retarded and make too much noise or run around drunk

i just get caught by my mom cuz she has a nose like a blood hound
 
I have had the same experience with cops, some are cool some are shit. My friend and I were pulled over for going 73 in a 45 and he joked with us and gave us a warning. Another time I was leaving a part and a meet two cops down the street, they were like we know there is drink going on, but tell everyone to stay quite and don't drive. But also we been fucked by cops
 
fight the law, you won't win but you can whine about if afterwards. you shouldn't have been drinking without thinking of the consequences. life moves on
 
sounds like someone needed to fill a quota. my friend just got pulled over for having a busted signal and the cop saw beer in the back of his jeep and just made him pour it out. luckily it was just like 4 bottles of yueng.
 
Seriously, how do you guys live with a legal age limit of 21?

It's 18 in Australia, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
 
This reminds me of a time i was driving my car(RIP) and i came arounda corner super smoothly which is usually not the case cuase i usually spin out... and i usually dont stop all the way..., but i had done nothign wrong and some dumb Newfoundlander cop pulled me over cause he siad i spun out and we both were like ummm we never heard anything... and i didnt have my "N" displayed on the back.(in BC Canada we get an L and Then an N then the full licance and you can get a $100 fine for not displaying it and it restricts you to no alchohol at all in your system) well anyways he was like you have no N displayed so i told him it was on there so i guess someone must have stolen it, and the buddy i was driving was pretty wasted and the car smelt like booze, and he was liek you been drinking tonight? an di was liek nope, and he was liek well i'm gonna have to give you a breathalizer, i was liek what you dont beleive me? and he said no... fucking dick... so i blew a 0 and after all taht he gave me a ticket for un neccicary noise, and i was liek What the fuck are you doing there you fag... not to mention i just finished smoking a bunch of hash and he didnt even notice the one thing that was wrong.. i fuckign hate the cops in my area.. its litterally the training center for police in BC
 
I got an MIP for passing out in my dorm last weekend. so gay. 410 dollar fine, and I blew a .094. but luckly i'm 18 so its not that bad. still gay.

yea same here in nz

one of my mates went to jail when she was 14 for being absolutly smashed at a rugby game and getting smart to the cops but it was only until her mum came to pick her up
 
sorry i went away right after i wrote this thread. im 18 and i told him repeatedly that i wasnt going to take the pbt test because it was illegal but he said since his shift was over in 5 minutes if i didnt take it he was going to take me down to the station or whatever.

i was just ranting.. but im definatly going to court.
 
ahhh learn your rights if youre gonna drink! haha

all you had to do is not conscent to a breathalizer, you would get arrested and taken to the station but by the time you were there and forcably given one you probably would have blown almost a 0. i know like 3 kids that has worked for and they all got away scot free.
 
god damn youre right. well... i was on the phone with my parents who are lawyers and they kept yelling at me not to take it but im a little girl who doesnt get in trouble so i freaked.
 
ah that blows. Yea even if you know your rights cops can be intimidating as hell, especially when they threaten shit. Blows, but you should get out of it if you parents are lawyers. (Hopefully they are cool with you drinking to or else you'll get in trouble with them) But Fuck the police
 
man do i love it where i live..nothing but fields and farms..last year we got rid of the local police..so we drink anywhere all the time its so sweet! i know a few people from your area with underage charges though that really sucks big time.

take it to court and show them whats up
 
reminds me of the time i was rippin up the road on my snowmobile in a foot and a half of snow and a cop tried to pull me over, i fucking ran and he almost ended in the ditch. serves him right for thinking he could keep up in a storm
 
Underage citations really aren't that big of a deal. As long as you aren't driving they just let you out with at most some community service time. Big woop, get over it. I'd be more afraid of my parents, if I was 17 or younger. If you're 18, noone gives a fuck.

uhh or now ill never be able to become a teacher in the state of pennsylvania. you arent allowed to with any drinking or violence citations.
 
Well do you want to be a teacher in the state of pennsylvania? And I highly doubt the judge will buy that you had a whopping 2 beers and blew a .17, maybe a 5 year old might.
 
Oh nevermind I read that wrong, .017 is like a sip so I guess you could ask the judge how 2 beers gave you .017 =p sorry
