Anyone know of any under the radar/unique places for backcountry or small kick ass resorts around Europe? Im near flachauwinkl, Austria atm and want to get to some "different" spots

If you’re in that area hit up [tag=134699]@onenerdykid[/tag] with a DM and see if he’s got time away from the atomic factory just down the road to show you some spots around the Pongau area aka Powgau or even just a better heads up on what’s good round there.

Fieberbrunn isn't so far and has a lot of cool spots. Not really under the radar, but not so busy either

I really like Kaltenbach/Hochzillertal. They have a nice Jump line and the pow days there are very enjoyable.

I'll shoot him a message! I got my boot fixed at the factory, super nice crew. Thanks for the connect!

Hadn't heard of those spots yet, thanks!

That area is wicked with loads of small ski areas. In my experience, (which is a few years old) I found local skiers were all about ripping the groomers and emulating the local hero Herman Maier. The trees and pow areas stayed un tracked for a long time.

I stayed in Altenmarkt really close to the Atomic factory, randomly. You can get the bus all round to the various resorts. I really like Zauchensee. And if it doesn't snow, you've got one of the best parks in Europe at Flachauwinkl.

That's still accurate my friend. They are strictly groomers. People were bewildered I toured on 112's haha
