Unbound terrain park at alpental?

Have any of you other guys from washington heard this rumor?

Another teacher at my ski school who knows some of the groomers told me that next year the area is bringing in some of the park designers from mammoth mountain to help build and maintain the parks at central and west. Does Booth creek ski holdings own mammoth as well as snoqualmie?

 
If they're doing the terrain park at west and central, whats this about the terrain park at Alpental? And no, i hadn't heard about it yet. What i have heard about is that aerials will be okay to do next year. Thanks for the update.

As you should know, alpental doesnt have a terrain park, i just put that because alpental is a more recognizable name than the summit at snoqualmie.

They allowed aerials this year, if by aerials you mean inverts.

 
Josh Chauvet, former head of unbound, is working with a company who builds parks for mountains. it mihgt just be that company doing it.

Oh please god tell me this isnt just a rumor but the truth! that would be pretty sick if its true, they have to compete with stevens super pipe so snoqualmie might have something up thier sleve

really, we so need bigger tables, and a good pipe. i cant to she in snoqualmies pipe, and lets not even talk about ski acres shit ditch. and we should get better rails. rails are so tight. both of my skis are completly fucked cus of rails.

The rail situation at snoqualmie is pretty gay. I'd kill for and S rail and i'd prolly get killed too.

 
if a terrain park goes in at alpental, wouldn't it make sense to make a huge ass one right in the middle of lower nash with super pipe and all which is serviced by rope tow? you all know that flat area i'm talkin...oh well wishful thinking

That's not a half bad idea, but why would the waste the resources to put in a park at alpental when they already have two other parks? Alpental will kick ass whether they have a park or not.

 
Well i've heard from a couple other good sources that this might be true...but i guess we we all have to wait and see next season

If anything, some of the unbound crew will help build/keep up the park, doesn't necessarily mean it will be good though.

like i said before, it will not be an unbound park. it will have no relation to the unbound. josh chauvet, the guy who used to be in charge of the unbound is working for a park buildin company. none the less, it should be sick if it goes down. they are park buildin crew for hire basically and they also build for special events like the triple crowns and other shiznet
