i was bored sop i watched flightplan and they land in labradour. and all you can see is snow. although i did think i saw seals on the runway. anyway the moral is,dont watch flightplan

haha, the skiing up there destroys what we have here.....park scene is terrible but all-mountain stuff is nuts

The Torngats, in northern Labrador, include the highest Canadian peaks east of the Rockies on the continental mainland. Mt. Caubvick sit at 5420 feet. No glaciers, lifts, or civilisation, but some permanent year round snowpack.

The Torngrats are also some of the most unpredictable and dangerous mountains. No infrastructure or support, slow response to search and rescue.

Sounds perfect TD. Excpet for the typical nasty weather. Can't wait for my first trip there, some time in the next 5 years.

^^ An american couple went missing when they were hiking Mt. Caubvik last year and they just found there bodies during the summer.....rough spot, but if you got the gear a definite must go.....there are actually the east coast mainlands only glaciers up there....

I am pretty sure that, technically, there are no glaciers up there. Just what is referred to as permanent snowpack. Could be wrong though.
