Un-Paid: Sk1-Bum

Alright so I've had a thread going with things i've been selling (https://www.newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/355867/) and I had Sk1_Bum ask about buying as peace coast shirt. So I processed his order and sent it out. A week later I went to the mail room to find the envelope that I thought was in his possession taped to a glass window. Apparently It made it too his town, but was recieved open and sent back to me. On this I contacted him and told him I didnt feel good about sending another shirt unless I charged $20 instead of $15 to make up for shipping charges under this particular circumstance. He agreed... Now, almost 3 weeks since he told me he sent out the payment, I have not received any kind of payment for the shirt. On top of that I cant get in contact with him.

Cliff-notes: I sent somebody a tee-shirt for 15 dollars, one was "lost" in the mail, sent out another tee-shirt, never got a payment, its been about 3 weeks.

It makes me most angry because there are people who want these shirts but I'm all out. Im hoping that he didn't scam me, but it seems like its the most plausible. Especially because 15 buck is relatively cheap.
 
sounds like he doesnt owe you anything.

you sent a tee. it got lost ( not his fault)

you sent another tee. he got it

he doesnt owe you any money.

you cant rust anyone youve never dealt with, or even your friends sometimes. if you cant trust cops , the government or teachers, what makes you think you could trust some random kid you met on the internet. if he couldn't pay you before you sent it, what makes you think he'll have the cash and want to pay aftder the shirts in his possession? you're just lucky you learned this lesson with a t-shirt and not a pair of skis
 
well of course, i've just dealt with people on here before and its always worked out. I didn't figure someone was going to be such an asshole as to cheap out of 20 bucks. Serious Karma better hit him if I don't receive any messages from him about it.
 
thats how you gotta look at it..... you do whats right and you'll get what you deserve in life....... others screw people over, and they too will one day get what they deserve.....
