i agree toatlly, for sll you midwesterners, they are playing atr the 10000 lake festivaal in Minnestoa
 
yeah ive seen them around 20 times. gonna be seeing them in two weeks at summercamp. then indiana, iowa and possibly dmb. im sure ill see them a few other times this summer too
 
don't know how they blew up, they used to play with PB now they're getting rich. the music is pretty good at times, but the vocals are awful, brendan sounds like a whiney little boy, which completely ruined the most recent album. jake is sick, but i'm not a big fan of the band.....not until they let the breakfast tour opening for them
 
ill be at 10k, but i dont think im gonna spend the money to see them open for dave, im basically the only kid in my town that doesnt go to the dave show at Alpine. everybody just gets so fucked up there, i usually dont go to concerts to not remember them the next morning, and bayliss does have a bit of a whiny vocal, as far as their new cd goes, i think it could have been way better, i liked passing, and the last song, but other then that wasnt really diggin it. and sometimes Jake solos so fast, i like a slower solo but hes still amazing
 
ahaha i'm the same way, i hate the dave matthews band a LOT. i would never go to a dave show, though i have been at fests where he's playing i just protest, don't watch the set, drink pbr and yell about shitty music ruining the scene. should have seen me freak out when jack johnson busted out badfish at bonnaroo. i was PISSED.
 
^one thing that pisses me off is the elitist jam band people that complain all the time about DMB and how they are terrible music. It's okay if you dont like them, but there is no reason to always bitch about them and try to compare them to other good jam bands cause they arent one.
 
I used to like Dave Matthews, all his old music, but once he came out with Everday was when i pretty much stopped all together listening to him. However, on his live at central park DVD, when he does a Neil Young cover of Cortez the killer with Warren Haynes, i just about shit myself, amazing
 
i might see if i can pick a ticket up in the lot. it would be sweet to see umphreys play infront of so many people and at alpine.
 
yeah just about all my friends are goin, but like everyone at my school is like yeah, i heard they're really good, i swear if they get to be like Dave Matthews im gonna be pissed, mostly just at the fans, im not knocking Dave, its just one huge party
 
i forgot to say what i came here for, TOMORROW THURSDAY NIGHT, umphreys will be on Jimmy Kimmel with Huey Lewis everybody should check it out
