UMASS amherst skiers, where you at?

Yo I know you guys are out there, newschoolers of umass. I just moved in to melville in southwest and I'm lookin for peeps to ski with. I dont have a whole lot of urban experience, but I want more and can handle rails pretty good in general so I'm down for whatever, but yea anyone around here who's gonna be hittin up rails this fail, urban or backyard, and people who are headed up north once the snow comes I'm gonna be rockin the all east pass I think.

I know this should technically be in the regionals thread, but I dont think it'd get much attention there.
 
yea thats what sucks there is MAAAAAAADDDD cops around here, like at night you can almost always see at least one so that kinda blows. also, is there any sweet jump potential on orchard hill? cuz it's a pretty big hill but I've been lookin around and haven't spotted and quite perfect places.
 
rumor has it that a certain ex-racer by the name of shannon casey is currently atending college at hampshire.
 
nah go over by sylvan and northeast, those are the best bets for jumps, there is a sick fdfdf near worcester dinning hall
 
oh and the cops will calm down shortly it's just the first weekend everyone is back so they're going fucking nuts trying to scare everyone into being good all semester, just don't fuck with them
 
right here.....ive hit rails at fine arts, ne, southwest, and other random spots and never had one problem with the cops for rails-they dont care they hav other shit to worry about. i even talked to a few of em about it and thats exactly what they said.
 
yeah the last thing cops here have to worry about is some skiers hitting a rail in o hill, this winter's gonna be sick
 
yea i've been lookin around and cops dont seem to give a shit about skaters... There's some sweet mellow rails next to my dorm (melville) that look pretty fun, I wanna try to make a line out of 'em cuz there's like 5 in a row. speed might be an issue, but i'll find a way.
 
if you are worried about cops their are also a bunch a nice rails at Amherst College and less cops but there are plenty all over umass
 
I dont know about this. I went to Amherst High and anybody that tried to skate in Umass had either gotten a bunch of tickets or completly kicked out. Who knows maybe they have relaxed a bit.
 
the way it seems, if we stay out of southwest, we should probably be fine. last year a cop drove buy us when we hit the down flat in north east and didnt care..

and about the kid saying there is a fdfdf dear worcester? where the hell is that?!
 
there's a big DFD, a short flat rail to a drop onto a perfect tranny, and a short steep down rail next to worcester. i dono about any fdfdf or whatever was mentioned up there...

and theres a spot in the path from o hill to worcester where we're gonna build a jump thru some trees its pretty sick
 
^ that spots already been done we did 2 years ago and i got some vid of it. its sketchy as hell though. message me if you wana see it.
 
yea cops are always kickin skaters off and trespassing em etc. I am a senior at amherst high so you could ride with me sometimes. too bad you didnt post this earlier ive been having rail jams every weekend at my house or the MS for the past 3 months. those 5 rails are def a hot spot for cops too right by the main road. Theres a sick rail near amherst college under the train bridge its right on rt 9. and cops dont care about you hittin rails but i someone reports it they have to give you a warning. We were settin up the 60 ft DfD last year by the food hall and some old man reported us before we did anything and we got a warning. theres the HS rail too its only like 17 steps but its still fun. def a bunch of kids in this area though, my HS had a pretty big crew alone. ohhh and i have a backyard park, lemme know if u want any part in that, its gonna be pretty sweet

ya that rail says "tow into me." haha should be a good year here. we hav a lot of enthusiam coming from a lot different kinds of people that i never thought would exist. umass could be potential big for urban if we get a good winter. pray for snow and that flat rail drop is sick for like 450s off and shit right next to dfd at worcester though i dont kno about construction and shit.
 
^^ correction, he started selling majority of his weed her. he grew up in weymouth, ma which is in eastern mass near the shore. His buddy Duelly went to Umass though.
 
chea! chea! we like the snows. whether its up our nose or beneath our toes. zoomass could ski all night boi. we harder than all those cats. ninthward cant touch this. scotty c and josh b rilla holdin it down for rilla, naamsayin. don't even touch our rails we got snipers on the roofs kid.
