Um washing your getup

i went to the whaleback railjam on sat...and as you can see...it was muddy...so my pants got decently mucked uo on the inside legs. should i throw it in the wash? or leave it in the hands of the asians down the street at the dry cleaners...dont have too much experience washing stuff like this seeing how mosdt of my suits were dark so mud didnt matter. i jus dno if the wash could ruin the pants some how

i think just washing your pants should do the trick. if not dry cleaners then

I don't know what a getup is, but if it's any kind of waterproof clothing, do not, under ANY circumstance, take it to the dry cleaners. The chemicals used will ruin the waterproof coating. Check the label/ask your retailer.

throw it in the washer, look what its used for. protecting you from snow, and snow is water. so just throw it in the washer

NIKWAX Tech Wash, won't ruin any gore or gore type fabrics, plus they also have great waterproofing add ins. Trust me it's worth it

for my jacket, they recommend sticking it in the dryer at low heat to bring the coating back up to the surface.
