Um, that logo looks oddly familiar...

So...

DPS (est'd 2005) comes out with the Lotus 138 and the snowflake graphic (TM'd)

Armada releases a ski oddly similar to the 138

Alpine Initiatives (non-profit est'd 2008 with ties to Armada) decides to use a snowflake graphic oddly similar to that of DPS

Armada uses non-profit snowflake logo in a prominent manner on new special edition ski

Really?

Discuss.

Mysterious, but not that ground breaking in my opinion. A snowflake is a relatively common design, it would like being mad at someone for using a square. Maybe not that obvious, but my point stands none-the less.

Armada obviously is not a real company and just a differently marketed DPS. Best marketing strategy int he world

non-profit..... so why would they care. also, its the alpine initiatives logo, which is a non profit

a snowflake is a pretty universal picture and is commonly used for a reason. also legally alls they have to do is change the look of the flake a little which they did and they are fine. but really a.p. is a non profit group i dont really think that is one of there worries.

Haha, like anyone would even give two shits about waaaay overpriced skis with similar graphics from six years ago.

As was said, we are skiers. We slide on snow. The snowflake (each one individual LOLLERZ) is the most recognizable element a company could have for a graphic. This is just a coincidence.

Just look at how many stand-ups, for example, come up with almost exactly the same joke, even before the Internet was here? Nothing in the end, is highly unique.

No way Jose. this is like if two companies wanted to use skulls as there logo. one did it first naddadamean.
