yo so i was thinking about joining a league this net summer....is anyone in a league.

i played some kdis who i guess won the league around ehre, and they sucked ass. so i'm thinking i oughta join and just stomp the whole competition.

so none the less, league players, help me out with some information about this shit, like weird rules and what not.

I play ultimate every Sunday in my high school's club. It's the sweetest thing ever for a bunch of friends to get together and play. Never gets old.

yea frisbee golf is gay....sorry, i think it's an excuse to go smoke pot and act like you're having fun...but really it isn't fun. jsut a waste of time. besides, why not blaze and play ultimate?

ultimate is the shit, they have leagues all over. if you guys are really interested in joining a league, look around there is most definately one in your area. and if you and your frineds are good, start your own team....i think most nerds play in the league, so you'll be able to whoop some ass. besides you don't want to join some lame team that has 'plays' and shit...

the kids we played and killed (undefeated every game against them) would complain that we were too physical and shit.

one time, the last time they played us, they cut the game half way through and like walked off the field crying cuz our smallest guy was being too physical. the kid on our team had a broken wrist too! it was so lame. so, yes i think there are rules for the game, if anyone knows them.....please explain them. as for me, i always just go out and steal the disc from anyone who's not on my team.

Ultimate is the best. There arent any leagues in my area, tho. I wish there was. I'm sure there will be one in college tho. Definatly the sickest team sport ever. Too bad so many people take it seriously and wear 'cleats' and shit and make plays. It's also too bad that most people suck at it, or else it would be so much more fun than it already is.

I joined a Ultimate League in the Summer and it was so much fun. You get in such good shape and all the people are so chill.

The only way to play Frisbee Golf is urban-style.

i play ultimate for one of the best collegiate programs in the country, does that count? Yeah UCSB black tide, look it up, we even have a video!

But ultimate is one of the most fun sports around. i played for a while here in the summer before i can get back to the team in a littl while. there are leauge and pick up programs all accross the country, if you cant find anything, go to www.upa.org and look at there pick up page and find something. and to anyone thinking about playing in college, its one of the best choices you will make, plus our team will kick your ass.

and disc golf is also really fun cuz it gives you the ability to hang out with friends, drink, smoke and improve your game at the same time. my team is made up of the biggest pot heads and alcoholics ive ever met if that says anything for the sport. some of the smartest too.

Go to www.discnw.org or www.upa.org for websites on mens leagues to join and stuff. Yea, the game of ultimate is the most fun compettitve sport that I've ever played, I like it better than soccer, I play for the Univ of WA, and fuck whoever was talking about black tide (UC santa barbara), they are all a bunch of chumps and their B team sucks a large cock

i played a league this summer in nj. it was cool because before that i just had experience in pick-up ultimate, but i learned a lot about the organized game

haha, I played for a school team (in a league)and a league, but now I go to a different school so I just play for a league.

It's great fun, but the leagues (non school) are a lot more stict about drugs and shit than school leagues. Just thought I'd mention that since that's why a lot of people start playing frisbee...

You can catch your own pull, but it's really tough to do...

You also get it if the other teams touches the disc and then drops it on a pull...

Yeah, we play pick-up games everyday at college, then i joined the team where they are actually competitive and have a coach and stuff, and that sucked, so now i'm just playing for fun.

He'd always make us run laps because he was like, 'This is what happens when you show up to frisbee practice stoned!' and we were hardly ever stoned before frisbee practice...

but yeah, i wish me and my friends had more time, but we play at least 1-2 times a week

my school actually has a ultimat team that has interscholastic matches, its really laid back of course, they just throw around after school for practice, but some of the schools around us go all out, like they actually run drills and run sprints at practice and they wear cleats and gloves and shit, our team comes out in bare feet and the jerseys are just white t shirts with shit spray painted on em and they kick ass its sweet. i donbt play cause it overlaps with football but i go to a practice now and then its so much fun. but like someone said, you play better high, your throws are just smoothe like butter

 
yup i play ultimate. awesome sport and it's huge at my school. we have a pretty competitive team..and i'm one of the only girls on it. it's awesome.

so yeah frisbee.
