Ultimate Frisbee

I've played before, but it was nothing near as legit as that. seeing that kinda makes me wanna get my fris on
 
i did it last year but our school sucks at it and i have better stuff to do now. its pretty fun though
 
I play for my b team club, in college, they're going to Washington DC for spring break and then to Tennessee to party! wish i could go though, our rival college (Carleton) won nationals last year.

We were state champions in colorado for HS

We were invited to go to westerns in Seattle but we couldn't get a large enough # of the team together. :(
 
yea i like how its so laied back dependion on where and what pool you play, its so fun too everyone shod def try it out for a summer team. and in calgary its really easy to get into like i just started actully playing last year and im already on the calgary team and two other leauge teams its super sick. not to mention a good workout fore skiing with all the lunges and sprints and stuff
 
always enjoyed playing it, but i find the people who play organized frisbee to always be somewhat douchebags. Really turned me away from playing for any real teams. I'd much rather just hang out with some friends and play a friendly game.
 
im trying to start up my highschool team right now, its funny to see peoples ractions that had no idea the disk was a sport lol ,
 
I used to play disk all the time as a kid.. From sophomore year of hs on we played almost everyday after school and played some solid games. Had a couple days a week all summer of games. Only played a couple tourneys but I'm a beast. Frisbee is the sport I rock at for some reason. Weird considering all the other sports I did for shits and giggles. We never were able to get a high school team before we graduated, we had the people though.

Such a fun sport. I love jumpin up and just ripping the disk out of the air. Ultimate is such a kick ass game, glad it's getting bigger at colleges all around, even though I'm not in school.

I just love how much fun it is when you get a bunch of people together that are totally pumped to play. I think I still have my og ultrastar picnk life is good lying around somewhere(though it's warped to shit from getting runover a few times)

I need to start playing more again.

One of the best memories of the phish show at spac last year was wondering up to some people tossing and hopping in. Such a good feeling even when just throwing it around.
 
Hah, Amherst MA has the best ultimate players in the world. We sent like 5 players to the national team at worlds this year and play college level teams. we also crush them.
 
its a legit sport when youre good. for example i have a friend who won worlds and shes an amazing athelete. but at my school we had an ulitmate tournement and how teams won was based mostly off of "sprirt points" which invovled a cheer-off and a dance-off. i lost some serious respect.
 
yeah dude amherst is unhealthy good at ultimate. we dont play other high schools because it would be unfair, we play colleges... and win
 
Love ultimate! Set up my schools team years back, they do ok now i think but i stopped playing when i went to college.
 
my school is dumb and doesn't have an ultimate. or lacrosse. or hockey. yet they have time and money for dumb things.
 
Everytime i play with friends and random people, they always ask if im on a team, and when i say im not

they say i should be, one of the best players theyve ever seen. /claim

i dont have any fancy throws but i just read the game so well, always know where the frisbee gonna be, plus it helps when u have speed and agility.

This game is just natural athleticism, which is why i love it so much
