Ugh not again

so i have my league championship swim meet on wed, and today i obliterated my head on the wall of the pool. if i wasnt wearing a swim cap i could've cracked my skull, but my hair and the cap helped to pad it.

i'm off to the ER for a ct of my head now.

im missing counties on wed and maybe states if its serious.

even if i do get to go to states, my training would be mad set back, and i wouldnt be able to do as well as i should.

convenient, eh?

yeah i was doing backstroke while wearing training fins which make you go double the speed. on our pool we have flags that are at a certain distance from both ends of the pool, telling you how close you are to the wall. at the beginning of practice they were misplaced so they were about 15 meters from the ends which is quite far. in the middle of one of my laps they moved them a lot closer, i didn't know, and i streamlined right into the wall. lol.

i'm back! and the ct was almost all normal, except for minor brain tissue swelling where i hit my head, which i was expecting.

they cleared me for states, but not for tomorrow. screw them, i'm swimming anyway.

my doctor was mad chill and was like, 'yo you can smoke weed next week, but lay off the drinking for a month'.

how would the cap protect you're head, like what would be the difference if you were wearing it or not., they don't seem like they would protect you at all

bahahaha i just tried to picture someone swimming in a helmet and got a good chuckle out of it...

glad to hear your head's alright tho, your doctor is definitely on drugs, and that's awesome

i have mad long hair, so i have to put it up in a bun before putting on the cap. the cap is like extra rubbery and strong so it keeps everything in, and i hit my head right where my hair was, so it was cushioned.

by "Ugh, not again", do you mean you hit your head on the end wall of the pool a lot? hmmmm, learn from mistakes.

haha, last year at whistler my sis swam into the wall of the pool at the hotel we were staying at. she broke her nose. you had to have been there, it was pretty damn funny.
