UFC 162

Dang I missed it! My friend just called me about it. Said the place (bdubs) erupted when Silva lost.

Mehhh. Silva's gonna win it back next fight. He got a little too cocky, but I think there's more to him having his hands down than just mind games. When he has his hands down it's nearly impossible to get to his legs for a takedown so his opponent will have to strike, and then he does what he does best which is to counterstrike.

inb4 everyone claims to be a longtime Weidman fan

Yes I did. Fighters are different after they lose. I think he to a point overlooked Weidman and that he now realizes that. I wouldn't be surprised if he calls it quits rather than do a rematch. Superfights are now done and he has nothing to gain by coming back even if he were to get the title back.

Haha that was awesome. Silva seemed chill in the ring but he just got his head rocked, im not sure if he knew what he was saying. I def cant speak after getting my face beat in. and he didnt seem too stoked when he was leaving the building with im pretty sure it was usher...

I wonder if Silva threw the fight. Even if he didn't, it was still a disappointing fight. I want to see Silva at his best, not him tripping up while playing with his food.

-16 on a winning prediction? Silva got caught acting like an idiot but he had lost the first round anyways and would have probably continued to lose. He was backing up the whole fight trying to keep Weidman from taking him down. Either way, my favorite KO of all time : )

Your favorite knockout?? You've got to be kidding, have you seen any other KO's before?Silva fucked up, there's no way about it. If he decides to agree to a rematch I'm quite sure he'll regain the title. He lost the first round, but there was nothing impressive done by either. Weidman backed up just as much as Silva. Chances are you are one of the Anderson haters who has been 'predicting' a loss on every fight just so eventually you'd look like a genius.

^It won't let me quote you, but that shit was crazy. I thought the dude throwing crazy shit was gonna get dropped, but I was pleasantly surprised. My favorite has got to be the powerbomb followed by some of Cro Cop's kicks. Skip to 1:50 for the KO in the second one.

it seems like you just like Silva bc its the unpopular thing to do, you're not making a whole lot of sense in here and seem really bitter.

Care to expand on where I didn't make sense? I tried to be pretty simple with my word selection, but I guess I still lost you. Of course I am somewhat bitter, my fighter lost. Am I supposed to be happy he did so?

I don't hate Silva I just never thought he was as good as he was hyped up to be. I thought after the first Sonnen fight he would lose fairly quickly to a good wrestler that could use take downs and GnP to control the fight. I was completely shocked when he got KOed from his feet and it's was my favorite KO because of the way he was acting before he got KOed. Another one of my favorites I just remembered was when Heath Herring Knocked out that Japanese guy after kissing him on the lips. YouTube Heath Herring Kiss. And it seems yo me like your one of the idiots that thinks Silva is the greatest P4P fighter of all time and nothing is going to change your mind even if he loses his next 2 or 3 fights. I think Mark Munoz would beat him as well. Just my opinion... Don't cut yourself over it.

Who's better than Silva P4P alltime? Fedor, I can see that, but anyone else and you're a fucking idiot. You thought he was overhyped... I can't even respond to that after what he has proven. It doesn't matter what he does now he's 38, well past his prime yet still better than anyone else in his weight class until now(and even that can be argued). I think Weidman will lose the belt if he fights Silva, Belfort, Suga, I'd even give Munoz a fair chance at beating him. Then the Weidman hype train will die and everyone will join on the new one(which I'm sure you'll be a part of).

p4p all time hence why I brought up Fedor. lrn2reed. JBJ could possibly, if he keeps it up. GSP is an incredible fighter, but he's nowhere near being the GOAT.

I agree with Fedor as possibly the greatest, he definitely has one of the best runs especially when you compare opponents records when they fought compared with Silva. The P4P argument is kind of silly anyways as there is no way to prove who is # 1 and it's all based on opinion. I think when all is said and done a lot of people will consider JBJ to be the greatest and in my opinion he is the best I've seen. I also wouldn't have a problem with people considering GSP as the greatest. Jose Aldo is also up there. It's too bad Cain won't fight Daniel Cormier because if he beat Cormier he would definateky have a legitimate spot in the P4P argument if he doesn't already, the guy looks unbeatable right now. I can't wait to see the GSP, Johny Hendricks fight. I Used to wrestle and go to school with Johny and he is a friend of mine and one of the nicest guys I know. I think has the best shot at taking the belt from from GSP because of his wrestling (2 time national champ at OSU) and his punching power.
