Germany has a more all-rounded team that Spain... Spain have amazing offense though, and I want them to win.

 
It was a really entertaining match. Like, the Turkish scored to take the lead, they celebrated their asses off and 3 minutes later the Germans equalised. Then the Germans took the lead, but they didn't keep it for long, because like 10 minutes later the Turkish scored AGAIN and their coach was dancing all over the place it was hilarious.

And then Lahm scored.

 
I'm sooo happy Spain won. Who the fuck are Russia? I was sick of all the ridiculous hype and praise they were getting when they're a team without that extra bit of class. And no Arshavin is not world class (yet?), players don't just burst on to the scene like that. Gus Hiddink does it again, takes an average team on a ''miracle run'' and falls short in the later knockout stages. Greedy bastard will probably jump ship soon and go fail somewhere else.

I can't decide who I want to win now. I predicted Germany to take it all but I do like Ramos and Torres very much.

 
what do ya know. i was right! it wasnt very hard to predict spain winning it all, with the team they had this year tho haha
 
They already signed Felipao who should do well in the next few years but he doesn't provide any sort on long term stability. No room for Arshavin though. I think that Manc twat Kenyon and Bruce Buck shoud fuck off, Chelsea also needs someone to bottle Roman so that he keeps his nose out of footy affairs.

Congrats to Spain btw, they deserve to be champions.
 
that goal was great, he mini-chipped lehmann at about 18 yards out. I don't think there was much lehmann could have done to stop that one though after he charged out. Overall it was a great game and I'd say spain deserved to win, the Germans just didn't seem to have it yesterday.

I love the way that around big tournaments like this so much goes on with the managers. The way that they are sacked or given extensions etc depending on how they do. Who's coaching Italy now? And I hope to God that the French sack Domenech, I think Deschamps could do a ton for the team, which needs a huge cleanout and replacements
 
hell yea, i just got back from spain monday night, wow that shit was crazy. i was in madrid for the finals, holy shit. i wish we had the same passion for sports in the us as the rest of the world does for soccer
