The finals are less than a month away now, who's rooting for who?!

I'm a French citizen so i am of course pulling for France. Time to put down those damn Italians. But group c is the group of death so who knows.

The first match is June 7th, and from what i've heard, games will be televised in the US on Espn2 or Espn classic.

The whole thing looks like it's going to a great competition....without England.
 
I think France or Portugal will win it if they can keep their shit together. Sagna and Clichy being left out of the French squad is disgraceful though.
 
those two don't bother me much, but Trezeguet? It's known that he and Domenech don't get along, but come on! the man is on fire in the Italian league.
 
i think that if spain doesn't choke like always we have a good chance. good young talent. fernando torres, david villa, casillas.
 
^Yes, I forgot about Spain. I think they've got a shot too if they can finally get it right.

Trez not being in the squad is wack too, but the other two were basically the best in their position in the EPL this year. How could they not be there? I'm a strong believer that full-backs can have a big influence in a match and Sagna and Clichy tear shit up.
 
i too had forgotten about spain, but they seem to typically go out in some unremarkable fashion in tournaments.

i still don't know what i think of Domenech, whether he actually knows what he's doing or if its his players skill that has made him so successful. he seems to make some strange choices sometimes.
 
Spain has so much talent! I dont really have a favorite but i have a feeling spain is gonna take it, i love their team
 
watching those games was frustrating as hell. i have no idea how France let that happen. But those losses don't really matter much in the end, because France is in the finals, and Scotland is not.
 
I'm from croatia and i have to tell u that baseball in america sucks to soccer down here.I live in the city with population of 60 000 peoples and after winning austria half of city was celebrating in streets.
 
im going for germany, only because i have family there and am like 8th german or something. i doubt they will win, i think spain or portugal will take it..but yeah
 
yep,no one is happy about is down here in croatia,but we have better team than austria and poland so i croatia's going to the quarters
 
italy vs. netherlands was nuts! my buddy from the netherlands is gonna laugh at me if germany isn't gonna score big time on thursday
 
i think its hilarious that england didnt make it, even though thats who i woulda rooted for them, is argentina in it? theyre kinda nice

should France suck (as they already have) i think i'd cheer for just about anyone but Italy. Even today after France's loss, it was great seeing those cocky italians completely embarrassed.
 
What a match this afternoon! Watching in my university union in London, a room to one side with Italians and the other side with Dutch, incredible! One side's absolute misery, the other side's incredible delight.
 
yes, cant wait to wear my old oranje jersey from the 98 wc or euro 2000 on friday when they take on france. The Croatian guy i work with prob wont be happy.
 
That is one of the most ignorant comments ever. That happened 60 years ago. Germany has moved past that. I'm not saying forget about it. Just don't hold it against our current generation.
 
I am going to be so bored when euro is over, from 12-4 there is something good on tv.

anyone doing espn picks? My netherlands pick over italy put me in really good shape.

I'm rooting for the oranje despite my italian heritage.
 
Haha, it's sick to read about all the Dutch support, I'm Dutch too, never knew there were so much half Dutchies here...
