So I had to record the game and it only recorded up to the first 15 of OT so i didn't get to see the end.
Heres what I thought...
I thought the first half Man U really dominated keeping posession and getting opportunities but then the 2nd half came and Chelsea really stuck it to em.
I was actually impressed with Ronaldo for once when he started playing a little defense. I went to Europe to watch Man U play and I was not very impressed with what type of player Ronaldo was. (yes i think hes good on the ball, but if hes not getting back to help play defense hes not a team player.) When i saw him he was walking back. but yesterday he made some great runs up the sideline.
I was also VERY impressed with Tevez. When that guy is up front he works his balls off to get the ball back when Man U looses it. he put a lot of pressure on the Chelsea defenders making them not make the greatest of passes. This is what makes forwards great, not them on the ball but how they work off it. whether it be making runs or pressing to get the ball back.
and Rywill, I don't think Rooney is overrated at all. I don't think he gets enough credit, especially with everyone on Ronaldos nuts all the time. I didn't think he had the best touches on the ball yesterday, but he consistantly works hard and gets back to help his team defend.

Tevez did have a horrid match. He just didn't look inspired at all, he had a few shots, most of which were directly to Cech chest. I was really surprised that Ferguson took Rooney off instead of him.
Secondly, Wayne Rooney is completely overrated. rooney was taken off because he was playing more of an attacking midfielder than a forward and they wanted a stronger attacking presence at the end of the game to try to win it. just because he wasn't at the front of every attack means hes overrated? i think not. hes one of the hardest working guys on the field and is running all over the place setting other people up. hes better as an attacking mid than a true forward and so many people look past that just because hes not scoring all the goals like he used to

Fuck off you wanker! I'll admit I've sometimes doubted Terry's ability in the past but last night proved to me that he truly is a great defender and captain, save the penalty miss. He's miles better than that coke-head Ferdinand or Vidic the dirty goon. Plus, he puts it all on the line for his team which is something that seperates the greats from the rest.
Ronaldo is also a huge dirty twat. The two best moments in the match were Carvalho's leg-breaker and seeing CR7 cry like a stupid bitch after he missed the penalty. Don't give me that ''he's not a striker'' bullshit, the guy never tracks back beyond the half way line. Almost all of Ronaldo's goals come against shit teams like Derby or Fulham. Plus, he wouldn't be scoring as much in Spain or Italy where teams actually defend properly, which is also where Messi and Kaka play.
Also, look at the teams surrounding them, Ronaldo is just profiting off of hard workers such as Rooney, Tevez, Park, Scholes, etc. Kaka plays on a Milan team who's average age is 1000 where as Messi's been injured all season and played with a washed up un-motivated Barca team. As for Ronaldo being a diver, I think he's got better, he also does actually get fouled a lot. I would say Drogba is worse, partly because he's built like a tank yet seems to have the pain threshold of a four year old girl.
