any one go there? i just sent in my app and was wondering how it was for skiing. and how are the winters?

Go to CU Boulder. Springs is so far from Keystone, Breck and vail and all that.

they dont have my major, professional golf management, ive heard uccs area has a mild winter so golf is possible in the winter.
its also last on my list of schools

I am from Colorado Springs and went to UCCS for a couple years, but I go to CU Boulder now. It is a great school, I liked it a lot, but it is at least 2 hours from any ski resort, Breckenridge and Keystone being the closest. It is a really nice school, perfectly sized, and in a pretty sweet town. I don't know about the "mild" winters though...the Front Range pretty much has standard cold, snowy, often windy weather...except this year there hasn't been much snow yet.

Hopefully that helps! UCCS is sweet, you'll love it.
