Ubc?

yo I just got here too, I'm a transfer. I'm in Rits, its right next to totem. I think there was already a UBC thread in here somewhere. oh well.

yo jamie think i met you last night over in salish. we def gotta orginize some urban missons this yeah. haida house represent

Law. I'm basically only on campus when I'm in class though. But whatever, I'm sure I'll see you all on Seymour. No passing at grouse, now.

3rd year... Geography. I ride at Grouse because it is so much better than Seymour. I also ride at seymour sometimes. Whistler most of the time though. You should come sesh the diving boards with us.

Then show yourself at Comor on w/4th October 13th. It'll be huge.

If anyone's starting in english and needs to know the names of profs to take classes from, pm me before the add/drop deadline.

just a heads up. 6th floor haida house we just set up a dvd player and surround sound speakers which means we need some ski/snowboard movie (gotta show love to the bros) showings

if anyone is into flipping around, i hit the diving boards at school regularly and there is actually a full-size trampoline down at osbourne gym too (though I usually prefer to go to aviva). i am able to hit the diving boards any day at 430pm if anyone is interested. i will post info on trampolines when i find out. aviva runs from 830-1030 tues, weds, thurs and i most like to go on weds.

i'm hella down for the tramp. are they just normal weave (black) or the olympic kind (usually yellow). been having withdrawals ever since i left slc and the olympic park

the tramp is a olympic style competition white ross bed (yellow ones are usually aussie or eurotramp beds). i have one in my backyard even, but i like going to the gym because of all the padding and accessories available. hit me up on some diving boards and trambopolines

yo let me know when you guys are doing that, i need to watch some snow action, i live right by totem too.

Saw some dude with a brown siver hoodie in the bookstore lineup. Lots of you young'ns around.

when you go to school you get a cheap whistler pass. thats why i do school in the fall. plus theres no snow until november.

hemlock pass. probably seymour as well, then a whistler spring pass. I have no way of getting a cheap or free whistler pass this year but i cant stay away.

Just decided yesterday I'm going to Kicking horse for all of Januray. I couldn't trick myself into thinking skiing 2 days a week was enough, I haven't done that in 5 years.

yeha i'm in Marine Drive, i force my roomies to play drinking games to ski movies.....they hate it.  I feel sorry for the guy in Ritz. Should try and migrate to gage or MD.

I wanna hit up the rail by the pool on night, but i don't got my truck anymore. I was thinking around 2-3 am when noones around. Someone hit it last year.

haha...I'm one of the only non-japanese people in the whole place! The exchange students party like mad though (surprisingly) so it's all good.

yeah i've been drooling over all the rails out and around the pool. whats the cop situation like over there/ubc in general?

now do most of you in this thread live in Canada? Cause I live in the U.S and really want to go there. anyone done it?

yea there's tons of people from the US here. It isn't difficult at all. Getting the study visa takes like an hour when you cross the border.

Next to nonexistant. At least in the evening. If there was snow to be had you could get away with it easily. The rails leading down to the bottom floor of SUB have been done. The pool rails... well there's not really an inrun, though one side has a decent outlet at least. They're also very steep.

Generally UBC doesn't have much to show for itself though. If someone wants to take a camera around and do a rail tour of campus in their spare time, that'd be nifty.

snowboard crew trucked a ramp up there last year i think... maybe year before... theyve been hit recently enough anyway. maybe jeffy even did it? i think? muldoon in safety meeting?

so sounds like i'm getting a seymour pass, park sounds decent and i heard some BC action is to be had there, fact or myth?
