Hey, so I'm sure a shitload of you are going to school up there. How is it? You guys pysched on it?

I was accepted, but I deferred my admission for a year. My girlfriend just broke up with me, so I figured I might as well go this fall. I just overturned my deferral and I'm wondering if it was worth it.

Any suggestions?
 
I don't actually attend UBC but a friend of mine and my buddy's sister both go there and they love it. It sounds like a really cool school.
 
UBC is sweet, that's all i can say, though there doesn't seem to be too many people on here who go there...or maybe they just never post about it.
 
word, I'm going there this fall. I'm transferring, I'll be a 2nd year. I'm stoked!

And there are a lot of people from Vancouver on NS, but only a few that go to UBC...thats what it seems like anyways.
 
I know a few peole who go there, they really like it. Vancouver's a great place 'cause there's everything... sea, lake, mountains, whatever. Oh, and lots of asians and homeless people, haha.

Seriously though, UBC sounds awesome, and you can always ht up Grouse which is like... 20mins away or Cypress which is like 5 mins further away or Mt Seymour (yeahhhhh) which is like 45mins .
 
I go there. Its good. Ski pass is 384 through the skool to Whistler Blackcomb. There are buses straight from ubc to whis every weekend and back too. I just drive though.  plus there are the shore mtns pretty close. 
 
A 384 season pass is just ridiculous. Hahahahah, my shitty local ski basin charges 600 for a tiny mountain and even tinier park.

So I heard UBC students can stay up at Whistler for something around 10 dollars a night. Is that true? Hahahaha, that would just be fucking amazing.
