I was just accepted to ubc okanagan and i was wondering if anybody could tell me how they liked it. Were you able to ski alot and how was the night life. Does it have a nice campus?
 
from what i've heard you can ski quite a bit, both silver star and big white are both fairly close. the nightlife is in Kelowna which is a decent sized city. campus is always improving.
 
I have some friends who go/went there. Yes, you can get alot of skiing. Most of it is done at Big White, since it's closer. As for night life, it's a university so it obviously has a night life.. The problem with the campus is it is sorta out of town, so without a vehicle you are more or less stuck on campus. And Kelowna is still a smaller city, especially during winter..
 
what program did you get into? im waiting on acceptance there for the outdoor recreation program doubt im going to get in though.
 
im only a sophmore in highschool, but ive been lookign at UBCO. it sooo so great, id love to hear what people that go there think of it. and maybe could you PM me i have to do a project on it for my careers class. thanks and +k
