They just stayed active over the summer. Notice how active we've been the past few weeks. Hella posts being done compared to the summer. We'll stay ahead for awhile.

To be honest, a good fourth of them are Kevin and Sean.

Also, Sean, do you ever do work or do you just cruise teh internets all day?

those posts were on a weekend.

and you'd be surprised how little me and kevin post now a days. he never posts, and I rarely post.

now if you wanna talk relevance... then I'm f'd.

Clearly you've never eaten an MRE then.

THAT's the worst substitute for... Food. I've ever eaten...

Fuck military food and white elephant gift exchanges...

what are you talking about MRE's are the shit, you can heat them in the field, they come with a desert. and some other good stuff, you just add water. plus they pack around 2500 calories a piece If I ever got into serious BC skiing I would always have two or three in my pack.

The one I ate I opened the ham and juice shot everywhere, and it was sticky... Then the rest of the meal was meant to be eaten cold except the hot chocolate. Maybe some are better than others, but I'd much prefer a dehydrated meal from like... REI.

yeah, but your not getting 2500 cal from rei, unless you are forking out $$, and if I am out in the cold I like warm food. and rei sucks on top of that.

REI does suck, overpriced. But their meals are more tasty. And when I'm not so worried about my figure and calories as much, I'd prefer tasty.

freeze dried foods are the shit. so delicious when youre climbing, backpacking, or just plain hungry. I'll pay $4-$5+ at REI (good ol dividend) for a solid freeze dried meal. Calories to price and weight isn't exactly fantastic, but its still delicious.

MREs are... interesting. Somewhat ok of a price for a "meal" but they only pack like 1200 calories, not 2000 plus. So really, freeze dried>MRE

oh so have i, and a lot of that shit is up there, but it doesn't have to be.

besides, it really is closer to shit than most yummy foods

where do you get these? with cigs they might be worth the price.. might be good for a rainy hungry nicotine craving day.

they stopped putting cigs in them in the mid-70s...something about cigarettes not being good for your health. ebay's got some for sale. c-rations come with p-38s, the best can openers ever.

if you want 2000+ calories on the go, try slimfast. honestly. its thousands of calories in one little can. i used to drink it in high school between meals cause i was so damn hungry all the time.

MRE's are good dude, I dunno what your smoking.

Actually, I do.

But more on subject, MRE's were good for me out in the wilderness. I dug that they come with candy too.

I got one from the navy during a white elephant gift exchange thing, and like a year later I ate it, and it was so gross.

This was like 4 years ago though.
