im from way out in NH and im looking at colleges in washington/oregon/colorado for next year. does anybody here go to ups? and how much stuff is there to do from tacoma or wherever it is? i heard its a dry campus but theres plenty of drinking right? and wheres the best skiing / how far from the campus is it? im guessing stevens pass is where its at...
 
i pmed you a long reply but just say this hear. UPS is definitely not a dry campus. Freshmen year was fucking insane.....
 
Tacoma is closer to Crystal, but the passes there are twice what it costs for Snoqualmie/Alpental and a bit more than Stevens. Be prepared to drive at least an hour and 15 minutes to skiing regardless.

I'm in Tacoma at PLU and would be stoked to have more NSers in the area. mothaeast goes there, pm him about it.
 
Dry campus is pretty loose. Depending on what building your in its pretty easy to drink. I drink in my room a lot, and play pong in other rooms. If RA's find out you get written up but its nothing serious. There's usually plenty to do off-campus anyways. PM me if you have any more questions, I'm a freshman here now,
 
It definitely is not a dry campus. If you are 21 and live on campus, you can drink in your room.

The rules are the same as every other school really...

If you are under 21 you cannot drink. Over 21 and with no people under 21 you can.

Saying ups is dry makes it sound so ridiculous to me because it is definitely a drug school.....
