does anybody here ski marquette or norway? norway has the worst terrain park on earth, and thats were i am stuck year in and year out, its sad... 1 table top, about 4 little kickers, kind of a half pipe, something the owner calls a 'hip' but it isnt worthy of being called a hip, its kinda like a 1 foot high hump of snow. . . sad sad sad... I just wanna know if anybody skis around the u.p. cuz there are about 4 newschoolers at norway, 1 of which being me. . . and it sucks

 
wow your lucky if i asked for a half pipe at my resort that would be like 'half-piep.... what is this.... where do we buy them'

dude i feel incredibly bad 4u. if it makes u feel better where i ski we have a sick park and 2 pipes 1 with 15 foot walls and 1 with 18 foot walls

You just have to be creative and built jumps I guess.

Alot of people here are from resorts in the midwest that don't have anything either.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

 
thnx for the consolment. . . but the hill is having a big air contest, and i helped make the jump, so it kicks ass now, i hope to post some picks of it. . . its bigger than anythin i have ever hit in my life. . . i cant wait

marquette is the fucking shit, there are at least five tables that are 25+ feet, a few bigger ones a pipe with 14 foot walls, 15 rails, three down kinks, one double down kink, a trapiziod rail that stands 8 feet tall, a pretty big rainbow rail, a c-rail and a bunch of misc. flat rails, it has been said to be the best park in the midwest

At my HILL (not mountain), we make our own terrain features.

I wasnt complainin about marquette, marquette kicks ass! but norway is pretty bad and the ski patrol sucks there. . . so im just gonna get a season pass to marquette next year instead, cuz norway is a waste of money.

yeah, today there were so many damn s.p.o.r.s in the terrain park, it made me sick. . . i couldnt even get a descent hit. . . some stupid little child would have to cut in front of my line and i would have to bail. . . it sucked ass
