In marquette and basically the whole upper michigan is getting dumped on. So far we have gotten around 12 inches and supposed to get some more.

haha today was such an EPIC pow day.

oh and if you didn't notice i was replying to the quote about park skiing. if you can learn to hit jumps and rails then why can't you learn to ski powder? it doesn't mean you have to ski trees.

why would you ski in all that unkempt snow? isn't it dangerous? Like what if you can't see your skis, and you cross your tips? what if you get powder up in your grill? I dunno, it doesn't sound very safe. And like all the run ins to the jumps are slow, and there is snow on top of the rails. And trees are just plain out of the question. if you hit a tree you could die, look at sonny bono.

no, infact my job at the ski hill is to get rid of all the powder that is ruining the mountain. I was thinking of driving a zomboni, get the snow nice and hard.

haha, all you little techies should have been up here 5 years ago...the pussy ass blizzard we had isn't shit compared to the snow we had the year bohemia opened and the 2 years after.

true, the best ive ever seen bohemia was 4 years ago...i came up to check it out my last year of high school and it had been snowing something like the past 25 days straight, needless to say there was untracked shit everywhere and enough base underneath that rocks were no issue...I havent seen it that good since, damn global warming!

i'm gettin the vibe that people think i just ride park or think that park is the only way to go. riding pow obviously is the shit, but in all honesty, i'd rather ride powder on my snowboard, or ride powder when there's actually enough to make it worth it. claimin to be all about powder is just an excuse for people that are pussy in the park.

Use to do that at the Dee a few years ago until we had a late night hockey session followed by a drunk driving accident with the zamboni
