Im guess you're a freshman, so heres the lowdown.
Chapel Glen (where i live):
Pros:
Chill dorms, people party/drink alot in them
Co-ed
Lots of other freshman around, so everyone is trying to meet new people
Cons:
Known for partying and being loud
watch out in building 804, the housing director lives in the building (got in trouble because of her)
Gateway heights:
Pros:
Closed to the most amount of parking (chapel has there own lot but its small and fills up easy gateway is the same distance to that lot and many other lots)
10 second walk to the HC (food, mail, etc)
Cons:
Same sex floors = gay
Now those two building are the main freshman dorms, the rooms are the exact same, double rooms that share a bathroom with another double room.
Now if you're lucky, you could snag a double deluxe in sage point, which i had a buddy do.
Pros:
double + living room so you have like double the space of a chapel or gateway room
has about three times as much parking as other dorms (but 3 times as much people.
Cons:
Most people living there are sophmores or older so they like it quiet and don't party/do much in the dorms other than study.
Far away from all other freshman buildings, i have a couple buddies in sage point and they are always over in chapel glen.
So my suggestion is to get into chapel glen. Dorms are dank, lots of different people you meet and its the perfect mix of parking, access to busses and access to food and mail.
