U of U vs MSU vs PSU

Great point. Ive never been there but from what Ive heard it seems like you just have to enjoy it for what it is

i'd say u of u. best skiing, (7 resorts within 40 minutes,) great division 1 sports if you're a football or basketball fan, awesome campus, seems like a fun time. also, bowling alley on campus. that oughta do it right there.

oh and way better mexican food in SLC than in portland or montana state

portland is a way cooler city, but i've heard psu is pretty boring. everyone lives at home in portland.

yeah, same but its def. not unbearable. makes it cool when you got a bunch of friends living within a mile though.

also, plymouth state. some of the most fun i've ever had going there.

I'll be at MSU next year. I guess Bozeman sucks if you're a big city person... but I couldn't stand to live in a city and Bozeman is such an awesome town. It'll be a good change from Minnesota

forgot to mention that MSU is pretty generous with scholarships for ACT/SAT test scores. My out-of-state tuition ended up being cheaper at MSU than my in-state tuition would be at Minnesota with only a 28 ACT score

true, i was talking more along the lines of the general people there and the vibe in SLC besides ski homies...I feel like SLC is full of douchebags who are not chill as a whole, besides the ski kids.

im goin t the u of u next year and have loved it every time i have gone out to visit.. plus if youve got a half decent amount of ambition there is a TON of money to get out there.. im gettin paid to go to school there and they have a bunch of reallly good programs.. u of u for the win

i used to believe this as well, with the addition of nor cal though. but i was definitely surprised by the mexican food in salt lake. there is a pretty strong mexican community there. it made me so happeh! ♥

Yeah, I'm socal native, and just never experienced how different it can be til I lived in Oregon for 6 months. Oh my god...
Good seafood though?

The drive from Portland to Hood will suck the life out of you, one and half hours of driving of semi residential areas with Oregon's weird traffic laws sucks. I just got back from there and the whole time I was missing the the quick drives to the mountains I enjoyed in Utah.
