well wolfman you've made the right choice. (even though I hate hippi's) I suggest you just come here a few weeks before school starts and drive around the avenues (residential section overlooking salt lake) there will be 100's of 'for rent' signs. right down all the numbers and just setup appointments to check them all out. I've seen tons of cheapish good apartments. My friend just found a 1 bedroom HOUSE for 375$ a month. Although this is a bit on the cheapside there are plenty of deals out there. Avenues are only a few minutes from campus and a generally nice place to live, without worrying about 'campus rules'

well ice-is-scary, thats nice to know. I think being my first year and all i might try and stick with campus housing. I figure it will be cheaper and easier for my first year then look at apartments for the rest of my stay. How is the partying on campus? i was looking through the rules and it says that the U of U is a dry campus and no alchohol is allowed, is this really the case or do i have to find off campus housing inorder to party?

P.S im not a hippy, i just like good music

dorms suck. big time. go to boulder!!!

Stewie: Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but you're a total bitch.

It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.

Ummm, I never lived in campus here so I wouldn't know what the party scene is like. I met tons of people just around town and at bars. Pretty much anytime I'm looking for a party it's not hard to find. Although since I've moved out here I ski 8 days a week and progressively drink less and do less drugs (gotta get up early and fresh) When you come out here I'll let you tag along to a few parties so you can meet whatever kind of people you like to hang with.
