The meat industry disgusts me. I like to think that when I can afford to, I'll start buying free range meat; you know, the chicken/beef at the store that's like 2-3x the cost of the other stuff.
Happy meat is better meat. When I was younger my parents (and a couple of their friends) went in on half a cow. Literally. It was grass fed free range, and some of the best cuts of meat I've ever had. At one point they also bought free range chicken too, which was also super good. I'm no meat aficionado, but I like eating, and it was good.
