Type 3 - Mountain ? Park

Hey guys,

I consider myself a Type III skier for mountain skiing but don't have much experience in the park. I want to mess around in the park more this season specifically some rail grinds so I'm wondering how this impacts telling the ski tech how to set my DIN. What are your thoughts? I'm just asking because I don't want to hurt myself messing around in the park with settings that are only taking into account my once a season fall tearing up blacks. Thanks.

Just make your DIN whatever is the best for your weight/height/skill level and you should be fine but if you're really worried just make it a little lower than normal

I've never really owned gear or paid enough attention before. I've always trusted whoever set my skis and balled out. Sorry for the dumb question?

Basically just don't mess with them after you get your skis mounted dins are something you generally don't want to mess with wherever you are skiing

heres the best answer you'll get. Get a cheap pair of twin tips somewhere and their should be a chart for DIN here: rental shop, ski shop, internet
