Hey guys,

I consider myself a Type III skier for mountain skiing but don't have much experience in the park. I want to mess around in the park more this season specifically some rail grinds so I'm wondering how this impacts telling the ski tech how to set my DIN. What are your thoughts? I'm just asking because I don't want to hurt myself messing around in the park with settings that are only taking into account my once a season fall tearing up blacks. Thanks.

get them set normally and then just reset them yourself after a few days of riding by trial and error... id start off with them a little on the low side so you can crank them up as necessary. IMO youd rather have them release than not on most heavy hits to avoid knee injury

To be honest, i wouldn't drop it down too much. You're much more likely to get lateral releases skiing park because of spinning etc. If you drop it down alot you'll find you'll release more than you want to

Go into gear talk there is a din thread in there hope that helps im 140 5 foot 6 or 7 ski park and all mountian and have my fks set at 8
