the thing in the bottom right makes no sense... average conviction rate of police is greater than 1 in 3 and average conviction rate of civilians is less than 2 in 3? Which means they could be the same, no?

Uhh. No. I don't know where you learned to read graphs but you were obviously taught wrong. I know because later on on the same exact site they list the data points from the graph so you sir would be wrong.

The only way to create change is through violence. In this case it has worked yet again. The cops were put in their place and now realize that if you constantly harass and target a certain group of people, they can and will retaliate. I don't get why people are so supportive of trigger-happy cops... last thing I want is some scaredy cat with a loaded weapon.

I do, however, feel bad for your delusional self and moronic mindset. Thinking that the best way to prevent cops from getting in potentially deadly situations is to shoot innocent cops, rather than people to not fucking break the law and assault cops, is arguably the dumbest and most misguided opinion I ever ever heard.

Have you never dealt with cops before? They already do that shit and they always show up late so all they can do in most cases is write a report about it. Oh sure they give you the "lead investigator's" phone number but no matter how many messages you leave, they never get back to you. Unless you have serious money, they don't give a shit about you.

About 5 years ago 2 men broke into my aunt and uncle's place in NJ and stole a bunch of stuff while my two little cousins were hiding in a closet. Luckily the robbers never found either of them and just took the stuff and left. But after calling the cops after the incident, the police located and arrested the guys like 2 days later with all of their stuff. It's not easy to find two people in the world with minimal clues and leads, but that doesn't mean they don't do as much as they can to try to help you.

And no, I haven't had too many encounters with the police because I generally try not to break the law and not be a dumbass. But fortunately I have a brain and when I have had to deal with them, I haven't assaulted anyone.

No, no I don't think that's it. You do know you're allowed to be black and not break the law, right? There is a very simple way to not get involved with the police- don't do anything illegal. It's not that complicated. And if you do fuck up, don't attack the cop. Do you not understand that in both the Garner and Brown situations, if neither of them had been doing anything illegal, the cops wouldn't have been involved? Neither of these cases are a black vs white thing and just because the media tries to make them out to be one, doesn't mean it's true. If you don't put yourself in situations to get arrested, you won't get arrested. And if you don't attack a cop, they won't need to defend themselves. Just because black people frequently don't understand those two rules doesn't mean that the cops are racist, they are doing their job.

Didn't look at the site, just took the graph from google images. But you're right, looks more like 70%. Still, not close to 88%
