hey nsi am buying a set of skis for my sister and was needing some help on what to buy.she wants a pair of twin tips and she can handle alot. she is wanting to use them for a bit of everythingher height would be 171.5cm and weighs about 60 kg.cheers.

hey I'm like 1,72 m and I have armada arw's in 166. they are for park and pipe, but they work pretty good also for pow and other stuff. They work fine for me! they're soft, and not that heavy as they're girl skis.

armada's all-mountain-ski for girls would be the cantika, but I've never tested it.

It kind of depends if she wants to ski mostly park or just all mountain...i have Rossignol S2s and i really like them, but you might want to look at roxys if she's a beginner. they're having major sales right now so its a really good time to buy them. i found these for $75,http://www.roxy.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2865511
they might not be the greatest but they're a good start good luck!

I got my daughter Line Celebraty Minis, and she loves them, but they are her first pair of twin tips, so she hasn't had anything else to compare to. I remember getting lots of advice though, and these came highly recommended for someone her age and size.

If she wants to do a bit of everything I'd say Armada Cantika, they are perfect for everything, and I learned everything on those skis.

You know, if she's mainly going to be riding piste, I'd go with some 189 K2 Hellbents. If she wants park and pipe, I'd put her with some 191 Surface Live Life's. I hear they are awesome on rails! If she wants pow, hook her up with some 177 Line Afterbangs. They float like clouds!

No but seriously, I've heard good things about the Surface My Life.

let be honest here... girls skis arent that much different. unless your sister is shreddin real hard just put her on some cheap twins that come up to her eyes or so. girls dont need to have pink skis in my opinion

thanks so much for all the helpmy jobs going to be a lot easier now!shes an advanced skier, i think she'd be more into all-mountain and pow, but still, in saying that, she likes to shred the park when some of us go......so im not sure, but she can definitely handle boys skis.

From what your saying here I'd say really go for the Armada cantika's they are perfect for that, and there almost like boys skis just a little lighter :)
