yeah, i might try them or i might stick to trying wakeboarding

but my school filter owns me, they've blocked every way to youtube

yeah i've been wanting to try wakeboarding for a while and now i finally have the money for it so im gonna start this summer

i cant wait until peope get good enough to where we are seeing barrel rolls and 720's etc etc. that would be insane

This really isn't anything new. Trick skis have been around for a really long time. All they are are smaller (generally fiberglass) skis with no fins...and the bindings are mounted center for obvious reasons. People do 7s, flips, etc on these all the time. The only thing that really is new is sliding boxes. Wakeboarding has obviously contributed to that side of it in the past few years. They are a lot of fun but it's really not anything like snowskiing so its really not a way to progress in the summer...apples and oranges.

Check ebay bro - $800 is absolutely rediculous. Either that or keep your eye out for tournaments over the summer. There are usually vendors there. You should be able to find a summer schedule on this website:

www.awsamidwest.com

or

www.usawaterski.org

that 270 off was insaine. that is the sickest video i have seen in a long time. Fuck i wish i still had a cottage.

Anyone remember the name of hte guy who was making these himself last summer? or can find a link?

Trick skis are very similar but they aren't grooved at all and are shorter and fatter. I guess you know that ski season is over or ending when the wake ski threads start popping up.

That video is at Texas Ski ranch; sadly enough real close to my house. I wrote a letter to the owner trying to get them to set up some water ramps for snow. I even mentioned snowgel for rail jams of some sort. I havent had a response though.
