so. I'm new to park skiing, and I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas about what skis to get.

guys don't be assholes. OP try to get something around 160 cm in length, something on the stiffer side. Armada and Line are two pretty respected brands on this site. Do you have any park experience?

Sorry for all of dumb stuff. Room mate thought it would be funny to hop on my new account and post this.

I am not a 5 foot 7 lard ball thanks. But i appreciate the funny comments and the people who actually gave some legit advice. Its nice to know there is some helpful people here!

I started out with some Head skis, they were light good for starting in my opinion. Personally is ask a shop to avoid these dicks on this site. Just look around online for skis that fit the description of what you'd like to do, and you'll be golden!

I'd suggest Volkl Ledge. Pretty great entry level ski and not too expensive. They come in 162, 169, and 172 I do believe, so you've got a good range. They are symmetrical, so the tip and the tail are the same width which is nice to have in the park. I skied these for my first two years and they held up well. I looked and you can get last year's model for around $280 brand new. Might be able to find a better deal if you look in to it a bit more. Definitely a solid choice in my opinion.

Then how about you tell us how much you actually how fucking weigh and how tall you are so we can actually try to help you?

I'd agree with the guy saying Volkl Ledge's. I have 176 Volkl Ledge's, was my first pair of skis. I'm from Iowa, so they don't get a whole ton of wear and I'm still riding them. Since getting K2 Kung Fujas they haven't seen much action, but this year I'll be picking up park skiing a lot more, trying to get back in the swing of that. They're pretty poppy, light, great for butters. Also, arguably the best part is that they're CHEAP. I got my pair for I think 200 back then? Something like that, which I thought was very reasonable.
