Twin Tip Help

I know there are about 10000 of these threads but i need some help on my next ski that im going to buy for our (Aust + NZ) winter this year.

I currently have the 06/07 182cm Public Enemies, but i dont have very strong legs and i find they are real heavy, and even slightly too long for me (im about 183cm tall (6 foot)).

I spend most of my time doing big mountain stuff, but i still want a twin tip for messing around etc as i dont take my skiing super serious.

and i thought i would buy a pair from over in the US over the internet to save a bit of $$$ when the season finishes.

So what would you recommend on being a good LIGHT twin tip?

Also, what are some good internet sites to purchase over? and what would be the best time to purchase.

THANKs!

guns or foils. Guns are good for pow but also on groomers. foils are a good all mount. ski. Armada ARVs my friend rides them in the park and groomers we dont have much pow to ride but they are a pow ski (100+ underfoot).

salomons have foam cores (spaceframe) and they hold up pretty good. But i perfer a wood core. slightly heavier though.

are u looking for something more park specific or something more all mountain? because jo pros would be mad ligh, but much more park specific. moment renos are super light but geared a bit more all mountain, anthems are pretty light too, and slightly wider, so better performance in soft snow. theres a lot of options

yea ive ridden the 06 foils and they are actually quite nasty all mountain. very light and durable. loved em in the park and in deep pow!!! im guessing the new foils are similar but im not a big fan of the graphics on them

go for the foils if the PEs are too much
or wait until next year and get the suspects

by the way i don't think they make a 182 PE

rossi scratches are dope if you want a great ski that has wood core but is super light cause of the weight reduction system... should checkout their site (rossignol.com) to see which one you want... whether all mountain or park
