TV whizzes: Composite->Component/HDMI cables, do they exist?

Just got a new TV, it has one component input and lots of HDMI inputs, but being oldschool we still have a DVD player, a VHS player, and a Wii all with composite inputs. Just wondering if there are Composite-to-Component or Composite-to-HDMI cables/converters out there. Searching on Best Buy/Future Shop doesn't really yield any results, other than standard composite/component/HDMI cables. I've tried plugging in the Yellow composite into the Yellow component input, but I just get a really interlaced looking black and white image. Sound input works fine.

Well its going from SD cables to HD cable, kinda complicated. The Wii should have a component cable right?

I'm aware that Wii's do have component out as a seperate part. But if I can find a cable/converter that can work with all 3, that would be ideal. So yeah, guess this is a bump.

Ah, thanks, but I'm actually after Composite->HDMI rather than Component->HDMI. Thanks to your link I did find a converter though, and it's even more expensive haha. Like $250. Might be cheaper just to get a new DVD player with component/HDMI output. I didn't realize composite was so outdated

And again to the person above, thanks, but I'm actually looking for something that will allow me to use my DVD player, VHS player and Wii, which all have composite output, with my HDTV, which only has component input and HDMI input.

Your TV doesn't have any regular composite inputs? All my HD TVs have one on the side, even though the rest of the inputs in the back are all component and HDMI.Also, I might be wrong, but I think you can plug your three composite cables into the three holes of corresponding color in the component input in your tv and it will still work. I think that's what I did with my old school DVD player because the wire wouldn't reach to the actual composite input.

Yeah I tried that. I plugged in the video (yellow) of the composite into the yellow component input on my HDTV, but like I said in the OP that just gave me a really fuzzy interlaced looking black&white image. God damn this is annoying haha.
