There was an episode on today of some Whistler riders wearing jib culture, it was about one of them hucking a 60 ft. cliff and fucking up his face and tearing up his knee with his teeth. I was just wondering if either of you guys are on the site, and all I have to say is that that was the worst skiing accident I have ever seen.

That's the worst skiing accident you've seen? You should check out the second part of Solid Powder. The guy at the end has a wicked scar on his leg, another part that's still open, and it looks like some skin was grafted off his thigh.

 
Freeskier TV has a short clip at the bottom of the page of Garret Bartelt rag dolling down a mountain. He falls for a bout 1,000 feet. He was pretty lucky to not get injured too much.

 
Yah i saw it, unsane shit. He completely hits the ground straight-on and bounces up!! The jib culture hat was awesome that he was wearin, the black cap with white logo, its cool to see it gettin out to the public eye even though they only show him falling, and not pullin anything big before that

I hate shows that glorify crashes like 'YOu Gota See This', or 'real TV'. They are interesting for about 5 minutes, then you just want to see the tricks landed. Its much more interesting to see people land tricks then bail out and look like pussies.

all those shows fuckin exploit all the negative in sports so fuckin activists who dont want people to have fun will complain and try to get people to stop doin them. ya ever notice how they always show like the worst hockey fights. there havent been too many bench clearing brawls in the history, but people think thats all the sport is about cause thats all they ever see. same goes for skiing, they show only the idiots doin stupid shit rather than showin guys huckin in a controlled environment-like a terrain park

 
i cant remember if it was on ygst or real tv, but they once had the bails section from propaganda on it, and they are all the time havin shane mcckonkey on you gotta see this... they had him on base jumping the mandalay bay in vegas with frank gambalini, and they also once had shane and gaffney on 'stream skiing' it was funny cause they acted so serious about it...

I kinda like watching real tv, and you gotta see this etc. they do show people landing stuff.. I've even sent stuff into them before..
