anyone else going? i went up tonight to look at it and it's pretty big compared to any other jumps i've seen this year. it's a solid 40 feet if not more.

 
that jump was no more than 25 feet from lip to knuckle on the big jump...judging was bullshit for the 3rd year in a row (that's totally unbiased, i didn't compete, and didn't have any friends competeing this year) some kid threw a perfect cork 7 and got 3rd while the winner scrubbed on a cork 9 and did a sketchy cork 7

i hope you don't believe oshnook when he tells you his dick is 10'...that table was NOWHERE near 50 feet...like i said the deck was about 20-25 max...and yeah, zweig isn't that good...truth hurts.

the jump was definitely more than just 25 feet. you had to straightline from the top just to clear it. the kid took 3 tries to get his cork 7 and yea it was near perfect but the other kid did a rodeo 5/cork7/cork9. they only judged jumps you landed so i definitely thought he should have won. i was in it for fun. if tussey's having a big air comp i'm pretty sure it is just fun lol....you sure talk a lot of shit about a comp/jump that for some reason could easily watch yet couldn't enter.

 
i blew out my knee 2 weeks ago...and yeah, you had to straightline but that's because the kicker was 9 feet tall with 1/4 pipe like vert...think what you will, but tech with style wins over slightly more tech that looks shitty (pay close attention to this, because NOBODY in the comp had style)

Fer sure bro, style wins over tech any day. Cork 5 with a grab thats butter def wins over a sloppy cork 7/9. And don't dog this kid for watching, cause he blew his knee at the liberty air and style on his first jump then finished his second run and still hit the wall ride...kids got heart

 
Don't listen to 'the_unknown' rumor has it cork5 has a vaginaball. Which is a rare case of a vagin w/ a incomplete set of ball... Very gross and can ruin your ski career.

 
For real though, I would much rather watch kids with nice 3s with grabs than sloppy 7s anyday. It's cool that you can huck a cork 7/9 but if you don't look good and can't land it clean then you shouldn't win a big air comp. Maybe if you threw a 7 and a 9 in a slopestyle on two different jumps but it's big air...one jump... make it look good.

And that's all I havta say about that.

 
my bad didn't know about your knee, never said you sucked though...did you have the mic at anytime during the day(some guy on crutches did'? i only saw the one really nice cork 7 from the top of the in run but the way they were judging it, which they said in the begging, was that they'd score each jump you landed so im guessing the scores added up = winner. that's what i guess is a jam session? they should have just had best trick with a 45 minute time period. anyway, i had fun.
