Turpin injured his good knee today at a show... it was his good knee too. Rumours say he is out for 6 months but I hope it isn't true - especially since he is finally in XGAmes this year!!

basically from the last I heard of it everyone is really really bummed for him. He was out doing this show with a bunch of the MSP guys and didn't pop enough.. landed on the knuckle and blew his other knee (the good one)... so apparently he is out for 6 months and will miss x games.. I fell HORRIBLE for him.. it isn't fair at all. I really hope that some amazing thing happens and his knee is all better magically.

Here's my theory:

it's a conspiracy set up by the FIS: they dont want halfpipe to be so radical as turpin's all switch run, so they put a time bomb in his knee while he was passed out one night.

Turpin's dedicated. He'll work harder than ever to be healthy. He'll come back stronger than ever. He's so far ahead of the game that minimal ground will be lost due to a season off of snow. He's no doubt pissed so give him the props, for progressing the sport, that he deserves and keep his spirit up.
