the top of DOA funnels funnels down to no more than 2 meters wide about 50 meters in. also because of the winds and sun the top and sometimes the entire couloir is completely wind scoured. I've been there when the bottom self had 30+ cm on it but the couloir was scoured ice. The snow when he was travesing around into the top looked sooooo firm.

This is taken about 1/3 the way down. Literally if you fell you'd pinball of the walls for like 400 meters. Turpin is a fucking beast.
