I was in whistler last weekend and at the end of a ski day saw some rider at the bottom of the gondola with next years rossignol s7s and some bright, neon orange bindings that appeared to look like rossi turntables.....Anyone know anything about this? I'm assuming the guy was probably a rossignol rider and the bindings could have just been spraypainted, but they looked too neat and detailed to be that way......This is all after the Rossi rep said 99% they were never gonna bring the FKS back.
 
what did the toe pieces look like? some of the old look ZR series were neon orange, they have normal turntable heels but different toe pieces from the rossi ones now
 
I have heard many a rumor that they are comming back for 09-10, but SIA is going on so I imagaine we will have a definitive answer soon.
From what I heard is that if they bring em back it may only be the 18 din versions. Ive also heard that they will have replaceable brakes assemblies, so no more bending!!!!!
 
I have heard that they will bring back turntables as well. They noticed the demand for the binding and noticed how they were sold for such a high price that it might be worth it to bring them back.that was the rumor i have heard.
 
it will cost to much money to bring them back. i honestly don't think it will happen. i'd love to see it happen. But the likeliness of them coming back is slim. But let's hope for the best.
 
Sounds like you may have been in the gondi with ian mcintosh. Some mag over on tgr said he saw ian in a shop with some orange turntables. It might be unlikely, but since he was on px18's before. and now he's back on the pivot, it might happen. Might. Not will. Might.
 
yeah but they still wouldn't make enough, most people just buy the px's now. the turntable mold cost a ton of money to maintain and create so the ended up losing money off the bindings because of the mold
i think the chances are slim of the turntables coming back but they will if look/rossi can find a cheaper or easier alternative to the og mold
 
word thats been the rumor over at tgr. lets keep our fingers crossed and hopefully sia will shed some light on the subject.
