Turbo = 5 stars *****

After viewing the majority of the films at IF3 this past weekend, I must say that, in my opinion, Turbo was the best overall movie and it also hyped the crowd the most. There was not a single section that didnt produce a loud crowd reaction.

Turbo puts off such a good vibe. After the movie, everyone was so stoked; you could hear the comments throughout the crowd on how excited and impressed they were with the sections, soundtrack and overall movie. This is a movie that will be on repeat in the dvd player for many years to come.

Notable sections:

Rainville opening section

Ahmet/Will

Wallish

Hornbeck

L1Ps Alaskan trip

Stephans closing section (will have to watch a few times to catch everything in the section)

 
Sorry, forgot the Windells section.

This was definitely one of the best sections.

Windells section features Rainville, Henrick and closed out by Wallish.
 
i think they ship before the end of the month. I pre-ordered Slamina and Turbo and cannnootttt WAIT. I'd even pay like 5 extra dollars to have them ship it now! haha.
 
Dude the Windells section turned my brain to shit.

Plus I bought the sweater that Tanner Rainvill is wearing during his AK interview from Liam Downey @ windells staff sale. Stoked on that

i really liked enjoy last year because it had so much variety, jumps, rails, urban, powder, ect.

did turbo have much variety?
 
I'm stoked to hear stephan has a big section, I love watching him ski.

I can wait even less for this to arrive now.
 
Word is that Turbo DVDs will be arriving at our Denver office tomorrow, and from there we'll be packing 'em up and shipping out pre-orders as fast as we possibly can! Not all that bad considering REALTIME hit the streets on October 24th last year!

So, that being said, the pre-order special will only be up for another couple hours, and we're pretty much out of T shirts anyway, so, get on it before they're gone!

For those that made it to IF3, thanks for all the kind words and support for Turbo, one of the many good flicks out this year, and certainly as many have said, the best Level 1 film yet!
 
Why not one of you fucking little chronies get unethical and put that shit online so losers like me can see it for free.

2 million?? Holy shit!!!!!!! I had no idea that anywhere near that amount of dvds would be sold. You guys must be raiking in the dough. 2,000,000x28.95=57,900,000
 
Sorry- poorly placed sarcasm... I meant to say 2 TRILLION DVDs just showed up.

Our German intern will be taking out the Level 1 Bentley to personally deliver all the DVD in the Colorado area. Our Gulfstream jet takes off shortly with DVDs destined for the East and West coasts.... Ballin' out!
 
Out of curiosity, would you be willing to share approximately how many movies do get made/sold?

Or maybe just an industry average, if you don't want to share Level 1 specific finance details...
 
The most popular ski flicks in the world, with the best distribution, probably sell between 15 and 20k DVDs.
 
i like this guys wording, yes...youth skiers of the world, buy multiple movies and help support the movies that help you not do your homework (or in my/many of our cases, real work) and watch these flicks over and over again. 30 bucks, you watch it 300 times, thats like a few cents for every viewing, easy
