anyone else think its complete shit that everyone looks at 2pac as a god. just because he died people glorify him as being some sort of martyr and doing all these great things. if u go back and listen to his music, its really not that good. its just like if 50cent were to die tomorrow he would be glorified just like 2pac, when really he is nothing special at all. hes just a d-bag(in my opinion). whatever, just think people need to get over it, he died, he was just another guy, and he died just like evryone does.

idk man he was pretty damn good. and i think people just like him cus he was such a gangster that he was actually killed. and 50 cent is that way too and everyone loves him. most of the ppl that buy all the cds and 15 year old white kids living in the suburbs and have no idea about ghetto shit so they are facinated with gangsters.

"hes just a d-bag" BAHAHAHAHAHA WHERE ARE YOU FROM? ive never ever heard anyone shortend douchbag like that before

tupac was a poet who had the power to express more emotion in one verse than in an entire album by most recording artist. he is not thought of as a god, but rather a poet who should and will always be classed with robert frost and william shakespear. if you cant feel the power of the song changes then you need to seriously open your mind

People go a little far with it, but Pac was more than just a rapper dude. He's in a totally different league than Banks and 50.

sure he was a good rapper but u cant say he was more than a rapper... i mean he did rap for a living. And i know what ur saying that he isnt in the same league as lloyd and 50 but i think thats just beacause he got killed. Thats why i made the point that if 50 cent died tomorrow hed be remembered in the same way as 2pac, when right now anyone will say that he isnt. i didnt mean to hate on anyone here, just having an open-mind on the subject because ive never really heard alot of opinion other than how great of a person he was. and sorry i used the word d-bag.(that was like one of the first times i said it, i picked it up from a friend of mind)

To me, Tupac was a poet. He wrote tons of poems as a teenager that expressed his emotions. He was an actor as well. Not exactly Oscar caliber but who knows how well he would've done if he was still alive. He was a social activist and pointed out the inequalities that he saw around him. He wanted to better himself. I'm not so sure all these things can be said about 50.

Listen to any of Tupac's early albums, they were all focused on many of the problems that occur in the black community. His songs actually had a point and meaning.

"And i know what ur saying that he isnt in the same league as lloyd and 50 but i think thats just beacause he got killed."

HAHAHAHAHHAHA

Lloyd and 50 are two big chumps. Both have one thing in common. A lack of talent. They are NOT good rappers who have any respect from anyone other then teenie boppers who watch TRL at 3 pm everyday. 50 is horrible to put it bluntly. His rhymes suck, his songs sound the same, and he has horrible flow. I respect dre, and dre is the only reason 50 sells anything.

Tupac was amazing with his words. What biggie had with flow, pac had with his raw lyrics.

this is one of 71 poems in a book called "the rose that grew from concrete"

this is some of the greatest poetry of the 20th century.

And Tomorrow by Tupac

Today is filled with anger, fueled with hidden hate.

Scared of being outkast, afraid of common fate.

Today is build on tragedies which no one want's to face.

Nightmares to humanity and morally disgraced.

Tonight is filled with Rage, violence in the air.

Children bred with ruthlessness cause no one at home cares.

Tonight I lay my head down but the pressure never stops,

knowing that my sanity content when I'm droped.

But tomorrow I see change, a chance to build a new,

build on spirit intent of heart and ideas based on truth.

Tomorrow I wake with second wind and strong because of pride.

I know I fought with all my heart to keep the dream alive.

In your first post he was a "d-bag," and now you just said he was good. I'm not a fan of rap, but I like and respect 2Pac's music.

big whoop wanna fight about it?

sorry, in the first post i was saying 50 cent is a d-bag. not tupac. basically all im tryin to say is that i dont think he'd be as big as he is if it werent for him dying. I mean when he was around he coulda just been another chart-topping rapper, but now he's a legend. I agree that some of those peoms and lyrics u guys posted were pretty deep and stuff but i think alot of those things popped up after his death.

The fact that he sold millions of albums and was in movies proves that he was a legend before he died. Plus the fact that he recorded so much music that they're still making new Tupac CD's today. 50Cent, if he died right now would still not be as legendary as when 2Pac was alive.

big whoop wanna fight about it?
